It'll be interesting to see how many skaters each side starts the third with. Felt like penalties were being discussed at the end of the 2nd.

Easy work. Dominated from start to finish. Could’ve been 7 or 8

But, id probably do as suggested and sit Anderson or Welsh and play 6 Brits. If you played 6 Brits though you’d have to sit 2 imports to keep the roster to 20. Yep. 1 would have to sit anyway. I'd consider sitting Tetlow for 5 import D, but if not then id sit Welsh and keep Kelsall in.

Easy work. Dominated from start to finish. Could’ve been 7 or 8 Indeed. Great atmosphere faded after the 1st because it was all to easy. Clearly it was the leagues current worst team?, but a very proffesional performance all the same.

They’ve stood still for years, going nowhere fast and now getting worse. Shades of what happened in Fife.

The move Lemay pulled for Luciani's second goal was almost worth the price of admission on its own. Good period, playing with some real intensity. I would add Lucciani to the try and bring back next season. Like to see a full season from him. I was surprised when it was announced he'd scored his 10th of the season.

Good win. Did what we had to do. Blaze are a poor team. Blaze got away with a lot of bad physical play. We should put in for suplimentory discipline for the boarding on Weston. That wasn't called. He didn't ice after it.

Blaze might not of been up to much but Rok had to make three great saves in the third.

Great win, dominant from start to finish...Blaze are pants
Shame Lemany didn't get the goal after his incredible skate through most of the Blaze team...but nice finish from Luciani to double the lead.
I'm regards the Michaud incident...looked like he was already losing his balance and sliding to the ice and unfortunately came into contact with the Blaze man's elbow.
Danny Stewart is always good for a laugh, screaming 'Are you f'in kidding me' at the ref which I think all of the bench side heard.

Blaze weren’t great, but let’s not forget they lost one of their own still very recently. We’ve seen the challenges that comes ourselves so I’m not gonna criticise them too much.
We flew out of the traps, that first 51 seconds on the delayed penalty put sheer panic into Coventry.
We never looked like faultering, blazes goal came out of nowhere (some finish mind) but that gave them confidence for 5 mins or so, right up until Curran took one of the silliest and most selfish penalties I’ve seen by just mouthing off at the ref. There was 1:40 left on the 2nd and if they go in 3-1 down, it’s still game on. But we score on the powerplay and he throws away the hard work the blaze put in.
Luciani is a weird one for me. I’m never quite sold on him, but he does seem to pop up with some goals. Do I think he sets the world alight? No. Would I have him on a 3rd line? Probably yeah. Still undecided on him though.
Pleased Rok has had 2 back to back good performances, if we’re going to pull off the miracle, we’re going to need him to be performing and thankfully he is.
Glasgow and Coventry and the teams we need to leapfrog. Hopefully Guildford can do a job for us vs Coventry.

Michaud gets smoked at some point pretty much every game it seems, I just think it’s his size that leads to it. Fair play to him though because he is at least willing to put his body on the line to try and make a play.

We were terrific tonight, came out the blocks flying and the Blaze couldn’t cope. We seem to have found some settled lines now and the PP units especially are looking a lot crisper and more effective. Hazeldine is right at home playing point on that 1st unit. I know I sound like a broken record, but he’s really impressed me of late.
Pleased that we got passed the Blaze, but I do feel for them with what they’ve also had to go through this season. So sad and it does look like it’s had an impact on them unfortunately.
Another massive game for us now on Monday, despite Clan’s poor form of late it will not be easy. They will come in and play as desperate as us, we have to be ready for that

Currans penalty was a bonehead play for exactly those reasons. That we scored so early in the pp just compounded the felony.

Bad timing rather than a bad hit(I would need to see a replay to be sure). I felt there was a lot of squealing from the fans at relatively soft hockey plays all night. Overall the refs tried to let it be played like a play off game where they could. I wouldn't say it was a great officials performance, however it was better than any recent game and certainly more consistant.
