Otto’s goal tally is definitely a shining light in a miserable season. However for all the clamouring for his re-signing (hey I’m in that camp) I just can’t see it as he’s just adding value with each tuck. I think he’ll make himself too expensive for us or find himself in a better league. We could offer a Uni Place

Clown of a ref calling a small slash in OT. Panthers on a 4 on 3 kill now. Guessing it was a dubious call then, something you don't usually see called

We’re more likely to have points docked for a too small roster at this rate. At this rate we are going to pull a Ducks 3 and Sheldon is on Defence as well as Strachan with Moore as Back Up Netminder. Need to get McKenzie in the line up and actually play

Last time we went to OT players were just about allowed to get away with anything and everything.

I don’t know if he is for reference. He is one of only a small number I would like to see back next season but I just think with his performance here this season along with his goals per game ratio in other leagues in the last couple of years may seem him move on to greener pastures to challenge himself

Indeed yes. A Panthers team with apparently “no fuel left last night after two periods” despite not playing for a week, against a fresh Devils team who didn’t play last night. How’s that going to pan out,it doesn’t auger well. Wonder what tonight’s excuse will be,or will Panthers win and blow last nights excuse out of the water ? Let the negatives flow… No a very very good point earned tonight, fair play and great credit to the players. Could be a vital point. I just don’t get how less than 24 hours ago the excuse from JP was no fuel left and yet tonight they perform like that. I guess as I said earlier, last nights excuse was just that an excuse.

Otto is a terrific player, we have to be doing our all to bring him back. He’s probably had his time in Finland and he’s played at similar levels to the EIHL in the last couple of seasons, plus we’ve managed to tempt him to Nottingham so I don’t see why he wouldn’t contemplate a return.
Give him a pay rise and see if an MBA is attractive to him

Fife won tonight. Meaning we’re 6 points behind 8th place with only 10 points left to play for.

That was pure entertainment despite the penalties loss. More games like that during the season and people would have been singing their praises even if Panthers lost. Yesterday at home they were pants (and supposedly exhausted) then today fight so hard even after a long bus ride. Even got pretty close to a coach fight too! Very entertaining

Would have thought Belfast would be too much for them.
They have us next, Guildford (Who beat Dundee away) and Dundee, home and away.
If we can beat Fife in regulation, we have 2 winnable games at home, so who knows.
The way this season's been

We'd have to win 5 on the bounce with half a d-core and a goalie shipping goals.

We'd have to win 5 on the bounce with half a d-core and a goalie shipping goals. We have to win our remaining 5 and hope results go our way else where. Bearing in mind we’re on a 5 game losing streak now, it’s looking very bleak unfortunately. Really hoped we could pull it out the bag

Just such a shame we can't hold into these leads when we have then. After watching that I feel gutted for them.

We could offer a Uni Place If you listen to the BBC interview on Thursday's In the Game Otto was saying he's aiming for the Austrian league but did add despite everything that's happened this season this has been the happiest time in his career. Would be amazing if he stayed but as said before don’t think many of these are sticking around.

Would be amazing if he stayed but as said before funny think many of these are sticking around. Would love him to stay but got to believe the Austria move would be on if he wanted it. Sadly Steven Owre just made that transition *very* successfully. Think for sure there would be team's there interested. Especially after watching Owre's production this season

Fair play to Kelsall for stepping in after the hit on McGurty, even though he got a bit of a pasting. You don't mess with our dmen !

Not sure he even threw a punch. But yes, 100% fair play to him for stepping up. The kind of team mate players love.

Kelsall sometimes gets an unfair slating and I'm not sure why.
He isn't a 'goalscorer' but can certainly score when given the opportunity, he works hard on practically every shift, he's a great utility player, he's played what seems like a 50/50 split between forward and defence this season, and hasn't looked out of place in either position. He sticks up for his teammates when something happens like that (he shouldn't need to, we should have tougher players but thats another discussion) however having the heart to do that gets my respect. He also occasionally throws the odd solid hit himself which, for his size, is again impressive.
Genuinely think he'd get into any team in the EIHL with what he brings. Very lucky to have him.

An under rated player who always gave his all, wins the league then gets sacked, what a great decision by Corey ! 🙄
