I'm not ashamed to say I shed a tear this morning, and I'd never met or spoken to him
His family, friends and ice hockey fans have lost a great person and a great player.
Again thoughts go out to all who witnessed it too be it players, fans or officials. Some will no doubt be traumatised and need counciling
And I know we are Panthers fans but thoughts also go to the Steelers player who's skate caused the freak accident (Petgrave?) He will have to live with this for the rest of his life and the guilt which will no doubt come with it, even though it was an accident.
I know his time with us was brief but Panthers should retire his number.
Neck guards are perhaps something that need to be looked at going forward

I also hope that any article on the EIHL website about Adam Johnsons death is thoroughly and completely spellchecked and they show some professionalism for a change.
Rest in peace Adam and thank you for your brief time here. Gone but never forgotten.
