Thank you Bobness You confirmed my suspicions And has already been pointed out, the vast majority of these are during the more successful Neilson era Panthers seem to be in the mode of an annual clear-out every year just lately. It does make life difficult. And that's because the recruitment in the summer was crap 🤣

It does make life difficult. True it does, we need some consistency badly.

Since the new arena, imports playing in 3 or more straight seasons. (very brief look, E&OE) Paek Hadden Nieckar Cadotte Carlsson Bergin Molin Neilson Galbraith Beauregard Lepine Benedict Lawrence Lindhagen Not a long list... Certainly compared to Cardiff, Belfast and Steelers, I'd expect. In comparison Cardiff have had:- Cole Sanford Joey Martin Riley Brandt Trevor Cox Justin Crandall Mark Louis Stephen Dixon Gleason Fournier Bryce Reddick Joey Haddad Matt Pope Sean Bentivoglio Jake Morissette Layne Ulmer Andrew Hotham Andrew Lord And that is just in the last 5 years. That really is a stark contrast

Chopping and changing of coaches won’t help as they will have their own styles, contacts etc. Also as you said you’ve got to get some good players in the first place to want to keep

Thing is panthers haven't retained players in years right back to the old building. Players don't return because who the coach is they return if they've been looked after and felt appreciated etc. If any player has a bad experience in their time there they are on the phone to their agent getting them a new club for the following season

A vicious circle.

And that's because the recruitment in the summer was crap 🤣 But most of us like the look of most of the players recruited pretty much every summer. They should be a good team. Even last year's team had good players on paper, with good experience, in good leagues. It's not as though the players were all first year pros or guys from the French second tier, for example.
