There are other errors in there How many Ds in "Didrik Henbrant"? That's right, 4: "Didrik Hendrandt" They'll never get to grips with that one.

Why go for 2 d's when you can go for the "top top four" d's right? But, jokes aside, the number of times they get players names wrong is frankly insulting. And as for ex players reappearing in this years reports 🤔🤣

I can't get my head around the fact that on Saturday they wrote this incorrectly, but then the very next day they were so desperate to say the same thing twice when it was right, without even realising the prior mistake. They can't both be three in three games "made an excellent save off a Logan Neilson shot at the far post to deny the Panthers' forward a third goal in as many games" "on the very next attack Neilson did make it three in three" www.eliteleague.co.uk/article/3728-panthers-take-extra-point-in-foot-of-table-clashI'm sure someone will be kicking themselves they didn't also shoehorn in a four in four reference for Logan into last night's "4 in a row" report. Though, on past form, they're perhaps saving that for a game when he doesn't score??

I think the writer suffers from Extraletteritis: the same sentence includes the twice buried shot..."Logan Neilson burried Westin Michaud's" I can't even paste that into the forum page without the spell checker flagging it up. Yet somehow....

Ouch, that is a bit of a clunker… There’s no specific rule for visor grabbing and twisting, as far as I can tell, so I assume a 5+G wouldve been assessed under rule 21, “dangerous actions”?

Shot? Eanted is what the EIHL have on autocorrect when you type wanted. lol. I’m giving them too much credit. It was “earned”! Who would guess that?

Would explain a lot of the match reports if the "reporters" (I use the term very loosely!) are clearly so drunk they often don't even know what city they're in by face off time

WTF? Amateur hour ascends to new heights with this week's preview. It begins... "Cup runners-up Guildford Flames are on the road for a double-header in Belfast as they look to catch the Giants up and move into fourth" Errrr, wait. The Flames are currently fourth. How can they move into fourth...from fourth. And it's not like the writer doesn't know they're in fourth because the very next sentence is... "The Flames are on a three-game losing run, however, which has seen them slip to just one point clear of fifth" So to clarify: the 4th placed Flames, just one point clear of 5th in their 4th place positioning, are looking to move into 4th from their 4th position by closing the gap to 3rd from 4th. We all clear now? 😂 Is beyond me how anyone can write those sentences next to each other and not see that they totally contradict each other, so at least one most be wrong. Mind blown 🤯 I gave up at that point, so there may be others. Life was too short to spend it trying to make sense of the article... www.eliteleague.co.uk/article/3797-friday-all-eyes-back-on-the-playoff-race

Tough times in Sheffield it seems. They've overspent so badly on the team that they're having to resort to selling their silverware to stay afloat... "League leaders Sheffield Steelers host old rivals Nottingham Panthers for the final time at Utilita Arena this season, just a few days after listing the Challenge Cup trophy" Now there's an eBay page I could see NB being interested in publicising 😉 www.eliteleague.co.uk/article/3802-saturday-four-games-as-things-get-serious

A simple fact, written there in front of you. Embarrassing. The last two years given the award to the wrong person.

A couple of belters in the match report from last night. Dowd’s goal was less than 2 minutes after Otto’s (it was nearly 4) and it took all 5 rounds of the shootout to decide the result, but Steelers won it in round 3. It’s beyond silly.

"The Panthers were back ahead when Otto Nieminen found Jordan Kelsall in space and the Nottingham-both forward finished excellently into Greenfield's net. Stojanovič made a good pad save to keep the Panthers ahead, but the Steelers' pressure eventually told when a Colton Saucerman shot that went through traffic at 32:23 - possibly taking a deflection in front."
Nottingham-both? Was he typing with boxing gloves on? And the last sentence is missing a good chuck of it, it makes no sense.

The Star Trek time paradoxes happened again tonight it seems... "it was then no surprise when the shootout also went the distance, too - Cardiff needed Cole Sanford to tie it in Round 8 to cancel out Alexander Lunsjo's goal in the third. Eventually, in Round 7, Lunsjo missed and Crandall converted to earn Sheffield the extra point." Which round comes after which is anyone's guess nowadays it seems? www.eliteleague.co.uk/article/3827-devils-top-panthers-in-crazy-gameOther honourable mentions: "There *was* chances in overtime" "with only 62 seconds played, with with 2:48 on the clock"

Similar sentence in tonight's winning the league report: "Kevin Tansey put the hosts back two ahead just under three minutes later, but the Flames were refusing to lay down were rewarded through Ferguson's second of the night coming on the powerplay at 33:48."
