The club are asking for people to vote in jersey colours for the coming season.
Whichever wins the vote will be the home jersey colour, with the other becoming the 3rd jersey design.
It is being done as a Google poll and they want to harvest your email, but they already have mine so I didn't worry.
I've already gone for black.

Gone for Black too. Our original colours are Black and White, so wish to stick to that. No option for White at all. Can recall it was something like lighter v darker jerseys at one point with one being the home across the whole league.

Sorry, they did mention in the article (2nd link in the tweet) that white would be the away jersey colour, hence no option.

Oh did you mean having white as the accent colour rather than gold on a black jersey? I assume you can't have a white jersey at home as every team in the league has a white jersey for their away strip.

I'm not fussed tbh. Panthers are black so that makes sense I suppose.
Sticking to the 3 colour palette, rather than throwing in greens, reds, browns, etc as the mood takes us, is more important to me.

It did used to be the exact opposite in that panthers home strip was white until they introduced a 3rd gold strip but has been for some time away strip is the lighter one... Prefer the white one personally but given a choice of black or gold thinking gold...

Does this mean there won't be any greens , browns and whatever other colours they dream up .. there's no identity when you look around the crowd.. just a mess of all colours.. at least teams like Sheffield or Cardiff it's predominantly Orange or Red!

That’s what I was referring to regards the all clubs in one colour for either home or away. Couldn’t remember which way. And if the leagues policy is the lighter strip away ( white) then I’d assume Gold won’t get a look in if Black was the home choice. Or shouldn’t if white is stuck to. Can understand if there is a clash of colours but again shouldn’t be really. When was it that White was a chosen colour as the CUP games a season or so back?- if I’ve got that right.

Years ago it was always white strip at home and dark strip away for the whole league. They then changed it to dark strip home and white strip away. Panthers only use to have a white and black strip. The third strip was then introduced and the first regular one was a red strip. The gold one was then introduced and seemed to replace the black strip as the home strip. So for me I always liked the black strip, so I went for black.

Don't mess around with tradition. What if in these social media/woke times the most popular choice came out as ORANGE. The Club should respect and honour it's history and tradition. As many people have already said the Arena at home games resembles "Multi Coloured Swapshop".

Black home, white away, gold accents for both. But please not gold letters and numbers on the white shirt, they are very difficult to read.
Frankly, as long as they play for the badge on the front, not the name on the back, they can play in sky blue pink with spots on for me.

Given that the only two options people could vote for were Black and Gold (the traditional colours) I'd say it's not very likely is it.

Added a poll so we can all vote and compare to whatever the rest of the fanbase comes up with. Also included a 3rd option for Lou

A total of 24 votes on here. Wonder if that "interest" was duplicated in Panthers poll. Guess we will not he privy to the actual number of fans who took the time to respond. Another example of (a) Panthers lack of transparency and (b) fans lack of interest.

The news story says over 1500, which admittedly could've been the actual number, but we can probably take it that it wasn't as many as 1600, and the percentage who went for black - the much more accurate 63.4%.
Must be the first time in about 25 years Black's been popular with the Panthers.
