Very slim as Paredes has spent his whole career in France and Pacha has only been there for 1 season and Paredes was youth hockey supervisor on a different team Pacha also speaks French and is a French/Canadian isn’t he ? Anyway at least this Paredes chap has got good pedigree for life in Nottingham, his French team finished the league in 4th place. Should fit in to Pantherland rather nicely. Lol 🤣🤣 4th for a newly promoted team ain't bad.. it's like a team from the NIHL coming up then finishing top 4 in the EIHL in their first season.

Not quite NIHL mate, more like EPL or whatever it’s called these days. Give them the budget and there’s no reason why they can’t compete though. Rather like Guildford have since they stepped up. They were absolutely miles behind the top teams though, like 40 points behind !

There's still a reason he was awarded coach of the year though.. not saying he's the best coach ever discovered but to be awarded that over the coach who wins the league there must be a reason It takes more than a budget to finish there .. you can't just throw money at a project for things to work believe it or not ..need a element of decent coaching

Club statement on twitter announcing Paredes departure from his French club. Jokers. How apt. He should fit right in if here is his destination.....
If you click the link you can translate it to English on Twitter itself...

I'm waiting for Tex to appear and call the appointment 'cheap' and something only the panthers would have done and "you wouldn't see Giants, steelers and devils doing the same" 🤣🤣 Oh grow up pidge, its not really about the coach its more about having the best players even Corey won the league one year with having great players...

Perlini to return aswell as Ollie. From what I here Ollie would rather play here than go to any other EIHL teams. No offers made yet.

"Thank you for everything", "big job to replace him", from the small sample I translated it seems he's well liked.

Not surprised he's done well with that team, from what I see they have been punching above their weight for a while. Been there a while so must be well liked by the owners etc

Ricci played for the team before he came to the UK, as did Steve Owre (Giants) and Ryan Tait (Flames)

It would seem the rumour of Paredes at very least heading to a team in the UK has reached French ice hockey fans
Its an answer to a previous tweet asking where Paredes was off to it says: 'In principle it (Paredes) should cross the English channel'

I know what you’re saying but Hammond doesn’t count as a ‘homegrown’ player, plus I’d be very surprised if Corey used one of his import spots in Germany on Kelsall

Hardly scored and wasn’t even at POFW yet I don’t recall seeing him being listed as injured ?

Bob "Vallerand's Agent" Westerdale said he was injured, in his bit in The Stir about them being miles behind Belfast. I believe Bob's referring to Latal, so that's an interesting rumour further up Sounds like he's going home though.

If P Hopefully it’s true Baggy because they both left for the same reason, hopefully we’ve changed enough to entice them back. Ollie would be a major coup. Errr Latal..no thanks and Mosey No thanks

Sounds like Kelsall could be on his way based on his end of season tweets...

I'm not really seeing that, reads more like a farewell to this year's team than a farewell to Nottingham.
We'll see I guess, but I'll be very surprised if he's not still here next year.

I wouldn't be surprised if Corey takes him to Dresden myself

I wouldn't be surprised if Corey takes him to Dresden myself DEL2 imports are called on to do the bulk of the scoring, so it would be a significant step up for him if he does that. He may well play abroad next season, though. It would be good for his game I think. Different ideas, training methods, team mates, situations etc. His goal must surely be to make the GB squad in future?
