In his interview when told it's Guilford tomorrow(today) he may aswell have just said "oh F... Me" 🤣 Speaks well of Hopkins but has barely given him a chance since he arrived. 6th or 7th isn't going to make mich difference. Get Hopkins on the ice with some of the better forwards and get him some experience. Same for Hazeldine. I do agree with him regards the Dmen though. JCB aside I do think they do a decent job themselves. It's the forwards part of the team D that so often lets them down. Shocking look that. What sort of coach says “ooh that’s exciting” in a rather sarcastic tone. He needs to disappear !

Yeah Hopkins and Hazeldine need a lot more minutes because we’ll finish 6th or 7th and they’re not going to be the difference between us winning and losing games. I personally disagree about the defence, I think Caruso is the best of a bad bunch and we should be looking for a full import clear out in the summer bar Jones Caruso is o.k. & Gagnon id keep. His presence is important. As ive said many many times though it's about improving on them and not expecting Gagz to be a top end Dman. Which he has been again. I like Summers but wouldn't be bothered if he didn't return. Even Gagz, who I do really like could be upgraded as a Dman as long as somebody is signed with equal stature in terms of protecting team mates. It's like Pidge said though and something that has been touched on plenty by myself and others. To many good CVs come here and fail for it to simply be about them. We all know there is a bigger picture he and it'll just be a case of rinse and repeat regardless of who comes in next. JCB can go. Lingren can go. Lagrone can go. Ricci(not a propper Dman) can go. Caruso Keep(uni deal anyway) Gagnon keep. It should be more like. Import Import J Hazeldine Gagnon Caruso A Hazeldine Happy to have another import in if we can get better quality Brit forwards in. That defence still ain't good enough for top 4 let alone better

Was part of the retro thing extended to include giving players nicknames as they were introduced, like Steelers used to do with everybody? Just get them on the ice and get on with it. The whole intro still doesn't work for me. 7 nation army is just to slow to skate out to and player call outs to much per player. It's not really bad. Just needs to be quicker and more energy. Yes. Far too slow paced. There’s no momentum built up, just ponderous plodding.

I like Gagnon but if he’s not fighting then I don’t really see what he brings to the team, very little offensive output, he’s not quick and I don’t think he reads the game that well. While he does have on ice presence there’s no one even close to him on any other top team and they don’t struggle at all to stand up for themselves so I don’t even see that as being a valuable asset

Bet you wish you could play the Devils every week, then you could all go home happy bunnies. In fairness for a so called big club 7th place possibly 6th is pathetic, Panthers fans deserve so much better, nearly 7,000 punters there tonight to watch garbage. Wish we’d got Steve and Brian in charge of us taff, some of your fans should open their eyes and realise how lucky they are. 99.9% really do realise and appreciate what our awesome owners bring to our club mate, without them we would big time be up poo poo creek.

Honestly, I can't fault the team for effort and application. 2nd period they came out, made adjustments to the failures from the first period, and, gave it a real go. But we have seriously lacked all season a forward (or two or three) who can get a goal out of nothing, or a dman that can jump into the play and make something happen. Gagz was trying to do this but he's not got the skills. all the forwards we have rely on some one either being at the end of their efforts, or creating chances. It's one of the worst put together teams I can remember, or the recruitment has been seriously misguided. Still their is always next season to look forward to !

That defence still ain't good enough for top 4 let alone better I dont entirely disagree. Just depends who we can actually get hold of. Also depends on roster rules to. Rumours on twitter this week of 15 imports next season. Archie has impressed when played but if we can get a better Brit Dman, improve the forwards and go with 5 import D then Happy Days. With a competitive roster Archie may be best served on a 2 way still. Id mich rather still have the 22 man roster size to allow the likes of Archie to be involved more. It'd be great if we could go and get Perlini and Betteridge back. Does Fererra get another go? A player who falls in to the good record but poor here catagory. Based on this season alone then why would we waste the money? One thing is for sure, Myers needs to be done after this season.

Awful game on so many levels; performance of the players, some should have been embarrassed with themselves. The officiating, Smith is dire and wtf was the red stripes about, made him look a bit like a barbers sign as there about the same size.
Main difference was in the attitude, we had two wins last weekend and showed nothing of the effort and desire from the Saturday game. Where sheffield lost and went for the win. And there it is, we were told time and time again is that our players want to win, whereas sheffields players know how to win.

The red stripes were retro apparently, to go with our jerseys. Again makes you wonder why they've not made a league wide weekend of it.

Was wondering when you’d comment on that lol Well as you know I wasn’t going to,but it’s just so poor from a coach, can you imagine Keefe or somebody else saying that,it’s totally unprofessional. Neilson doesn’t give a stuff it’s obvious and not the first poor interview he’s given either,he’s here for the money and laughing at the fans, the interviewers,Black and the club. If I was Black or Pacha then Corey would be in my office on Monday morning to explain himself and that comment.

Proof that the league has no interest in improving the standard of officiating.

The new refs are generally inept. Smith was the last of the old school breed who just wanted to be centre of attention. Equally poor and infuriating.
