The Tesla Pardubice game, which was billed as "JMS All Stars v Tesla Pardubice", took place on 13 Dec 1988. Tesla also played at Durham, Peterborough and Cardiff (and possibly other venues) on that trip. I suspect "JMS All Stars" were in each case the relevant home team plus a few guests. "JMS" was John Smith, team manager of the Reading Racers speedway team in 1982, who formed JMS All Stars to become a travel agent for riders and fans. He developed a close affinity with Czech speedway, travelling to the country regularly, and promoted participation of British riders in the prestigious Czech Golden Helmet race. This is held annually in Pardubice, so it's easy to see how the ice hockey connection arose. Here's the 'home' team in Nottingham. The front cover of the programme. The pennant that had printed signatures on the back of it.

An hour in the loft reveals programmes for...
12 Dec 1994 Vs Manitoba Bison (featuring Karry Biette, Todd Dutiaume, and Dwayne Newman on the roster) 28 Jan 1995 vs Team Canada (feat Jeff Sebastian, Jamie Leach, David St Pierre and Marc Hussey) 17 Dec 1996 Vs Manitoba Bison (featuring Duncan Paterson) 28 January 1997 vs Team Japan 30 Aug 1997 vs Interlaken (Swiss 3rd level?) 17 November 2002 vs Princeton University (captained by I think, George Parros, and also featuring Dustin Sproat and Neil Stevenson-Moore)
Sadly, I have no records, gamesheet or notes from each evening, but a bit more flesh on the bones, so to speak.

Glad you found the information Bob. Good to know my memory is still functioning Bob. I thought there was quite a few players form that Team Canada team who went on to play here.
