A terrible situation for Craig and his family, I’m glad the club have shared it, I’m sure our fanbase will support him

Im so glad you put this up, I was considering doing something, I have seen the pictures sent by Christy his wife and there is virtually nothing left, the house was under 7' of water. Devastating, hopefully our hockey family will help also.

In amongst the familiar Panthers fan names, including some kind people from this forum, I've spotted a few EIHL Alumni too.
Charles Linglet, Gui Lepine, Gui Desbiens.
It's nice to see.

Genuine question. Do they not have house insurance for this in USA,I’m sure I read an article on it from the last hurricane and the damage was so big it sent some insurance companies bust ?

I've been told that the Kowalskis do have insurance, yes. But obviously the road back to normality will be a long one. In the short term I have no idea what day to day life will be like for them, but whatever we can do to ease the financial burden then I'm happy to help

Saturday's chuck-a-puck proceeds will go to Kwall and family, nice touch by the club.

How much was raised last night ? Could the club fly Craig over for a game night and do a bucket collection ?

How much was raised last night ? Could the club fly Craig over for a game night and do a bucket collection ? For his house or for a new coach and team for the Panthers?

I think even for you Iggy, that's getting a tad pedantic don't you think? If they'd have put The Nottingham Panthers Fans you'd have only complained that the club themselves were distancing themselves from the donations page! Well done all on the great work with the donations.

The way they’ve worded it makes it look like it’s all down to the club and therefore taking all the credit.

The way they’ve worded it makes it look like it’s all down to the club and therefore taking all the credit. You don't think worrying about the exact wording on a funding page *the day after* the organisation have already posted an article in which Kowalski thanks the fans directly for the money they raised and Panthers transferred might rather feel like looking for something to complain about? I'm pretty sure Kwall and his family won't be worried about the wording and clearly know where the money came from. Surely the main takeaway of this situation is the fact any of us know about this situation at all and were able to help the family out in the first place (especially given the funding page wording not even giving Kwall's name) was because of the organisation helping to publicise it and, not only that, but also coming up with a way for fans to demonstrate *their emotional support and recognition as well* at a game whilst they generated funds for the family's recovery. Without the actions of the club I doubt many (if any) of us would even be aware of the situation, been able to do anything for them, or help them out. Makes the wording on a donation page feels pretty small by comparison I would have thought? And definitely not something the recipients will have likely even registered.
