On a related note its just been announced all this weekends EFL and premier league games will be postponed including the game scheduled for Monday Personally I think the EIHL have taken the right decisio in this instance So do I. It's 2022 and no one is going to cut your head off Depends which country you're in! Seen plenty of tweets in the last 12 hours disrespecting the queen which would result in the death penalty in certain places..

I’m glad the games are going ahead, it’s good that we can get together and give our respects to the queen as a club.

Before anyone starts saying hockey is better than football blah blah this decision may be more to do with Policing levels especially in the London area Hang on, before this you said "Hockey etc will do what they normally do and be the sheep and follow what other sports do" Now because they're not doing what you assumed they would,it's "before anyone starts saying football is better..." can't have it both ways Pidge! I do think the EIHL have got it right here, I appreciate they have other factors to consider in terms of rink availability etc but I see no reason why sports can't gather and pay respects this weekend rather than sending the fans home where they (mostly) wouldn't be paying respects?

I was half because they said they were "following guidance" 😂

Good it’s still going ahead, the queen loved sport and she was always the “show must go on” type. Just don’t forget, when you’re all singing the anthem and everyone is focussing on saying “god save the KING” don’t forget it’s “send HIM victorious”. I bet a lot forget that one ! 😉

Contemplating going to get the beer and feel I've make a killing on the saving. Or is it extra watered down tomorrow. EDIT: Whatever, when I purchased a ticket for my son and I, the amount of additions in fees is astounding. Looks more like my shopping receipt. Makes going again soon a rare possibility.

I'd steer clear of the hot dogs too then as they are around £8 each these days Expensive isn't the word. Tbh can't remember last time I brought one. Still I'm sure some do...

Both import goalies in warm up. I've not seen any announcements yet, but clearly 1 of the injured guys hasn't made it.
I've not learnt the numbers at all so cant work out whos missing yet.

0-1 after 1. Guildford much the better team for the first half of the period, but Panthers have come back into it a bit in the second half.

2-2 after 2.
Better from Panthers, Sorenson and Brady for us.
Brilliant goal from Tait for them.

For anyone concerned about our teams lack of size Guildford are the smallest team in the league...
Oh and it's now 3-2 to Guildford

How can a team thats made so many changes look so much like last years team. Some of the improved class shows up at times at least.
Its game 1 so no writing anything or anybody off but a lot of this game has been woeful.
Barely a check thrown and the opposition again find it far to easy to transition from D to attack in the blink of an eye.

Considering GG said he'd make panthers a tough team to play against at the NIC it's been a ominous start.. lost 2 and behind in the third..

Tied it up late with the goalie pulled, and won in OT. 4-3.

Got a few bounces along the way there (goals 2 and 3), nice finish from Hammond to win it, although Flames made a right rick of that OT.

Got away with one there, but if Sheffield and Cardiff were to do that, we would be saying that what Champions do.
Frustrating thing was if they played like they did in the 2nd Period, we would have won easier.
That 3rd period was so frustrating, couldn't get the punk off them
