Are the Elite asleep, closed down, on an extended bank holiday or what. No report and most importantly no GRS of this Coventry v Nottm game. Indeed, very frustrating. We've had the debacle of the EIHL announcing some ice time numbers, then just stopping after 4 teams, hardly any content over the summer, a seemingly unmanned Twitter account (no original tweets for 4 days now?) and now we have games played with no mention on the website at all of even the result, let alone a gamesheet. That's what narks me off most, the inconsistency of it all. It's almost like someone does it for a week or two then gets siphoned off to do something else and no-one finishes what they started, nor bothers to check.

It's almost like someone does it for a week or two then gets siphoned off to do something else and no-one finishes what they started, nor bothers to check. Plus I'm trying my best (like you I guess) not to 'have a go' about this every time something like this happens, or doesn't in this case. Very amateurish. The usual can be said that Football would not be so unprofessional. Yes, we are not a major sport but we'd want to be and we allude to how good our sport is and is worthy of more attention. However, the attention is on the 'not to detail' points. 'Think you can do better?' might be a reply from our concerns. Well, possibly, give us a chance, involve us, reply to emails etc... The Nottingham Panthers have improved massively it just needs (for our sakes) the Elite to also. So much, regularly in error or not dealt with. Such a pity. The site holds information regards the 19/20 season still for goodness sake, stuff needs taking down from last season. Is the remaining detail correct, for example the Elites information on THIS seasons competitions? No excuses, people have contacted them initially to be frank but helpful, then can give constructive criticism but hey no replies. Just seen as annoying I assume. Hence we get threads like 'EIHL Howlers' , because even the Cage Forum can present itself better by clearing old material for new.

That's subjective.. I've not seen many physical teams this year on YouTube highlights etc.. if GG is happy with his team thats what matters and he'll know what this team is capable of more than you it’s not subjective at all really. Ur relying on “stats” of our players not being small while completely missing the point of the lack of physicality. Saying “stats don’t fit peoples narrative” as if we haven’t watched them play 3 games. Once again I think we will be a solid top four team this year(in regards to being in the mix with Sheffield, Cardiff and Belfast unlike last year). But the lack of physicality and size up front is surprisingly noticeable. It doesn’t take a expert to know what physicality adds in terms of making space for teammates and winning board plays. Your also making it seem like we are asking for a team as big as RC’s team, no one has said that. Just think it was a mistake not replacing Hunt with a power forward. Something we have lacked for seasons now. Even Sheffield have added more size up front this season. Perhaps they should have added more on the back end instead after watching their highlights from Wednesday night .. just saying. Usually with size you lose in speed. It's about goalscoring and panthers don't seem to having any issues so far

But we look as if we have 3 solid lines that can produce (which I’m very happy about). My point is we look pretty one dimensional going forward. If it works then it works but just personally I’d rather have a power forward or 2 to add more to our team. But my point still stands, so far it doesn’t look like a “physical, mean and in your face team” that graham sold us.

Dubeau was excellent and at times with all of our forwards and D all in the opposition end zone, he really made the score line look a lot better. If he gets better than that over the coming weeks he will look pretty special.

I absolutely know you don't play it on paper, but I'm (probably very unfairly) a bit underwhelmed with Blaze's team this season. You watch them thrash the pants off us... I’m just leaving this one here. Not sure whether it makes me Nostradamus or that Dick Emery character “I think I’ve got it wrong again dad…”.

Not just against us either. They’ve won every league game and gave Cardiff a hiding after they’d finished with us. Blaze looking strong
