There's no way those seats are worth the extra.
I'm in the same Block and I Swear, my seat is better.
Mind you, any spillages are dealt with ASAP

It does seem a slightly odd offering, for hockey anyway. If the seats had been made wider, or there was waiter service for food & drinks or something, I could perhaps see it.

Mind you, any spillages are dealt with ASAP I’m “fortunate” enough to be in those seats and they’re 100x worse. Cheap plastic “leather” seats, less leg room due to the 1/2 inch of additional foam in the back. No cup holders. Just awful A guy a few rows back in a platinum seat didn’t even have a back support fitted, he was left to lean against concrete and bolts. I would sit in every other seat in the building before I decided to pay £35 to sit in this sham off my own back. Simply awful

Simply awful Clearly the arena can get away with this for concerts and events as a lot of those people will be one off visitors. The probably dont even know what a normal seat is like. Even if they do complain it'll be a little whinge then they'll move on. Panthers season ticket holders on the other hand will really push back should they be that bad. O.K you arn't paying the inflated price for the privilege but you are going to have to sit there 27+ times a season plus more gling forward. The complaints will only get louder and more consistant. If they are that bad I'm not sure they'll survive all that long. I've already stated I dont think it's a bad idea in theory. If the reality is that poor though then it's just a cheap trick that will bite them in the backside(the arena not Panthers)

Unless the stage is the centre of the floor area, then I can see why they are there, usually the stage is where the banner is.
Hopefully it's nipped in the bud before it's expanded

I remember when they used to do behind the goal.. they thought it was a good idea to throw water at the players when they were walking on and off the ice!

Ka-ching New slick management but same old money grab from the more gullible of the fanbase, or those with too much disposable income. The more things change.... Still if ultimately people buy and enjoy then good on them

Still if ultimately people buy and enjoy then good on them And who's to say we shouldn't give them the choice?

Don't care what people think but this epitomises the saying 'more money than sense'

Quite the opposite in fact. But if you want to misrepresent the facts to suit your reply.... It's a free world & you're more than welcome.

And that’s their choice. Whether anyone actually does is a hypothesis that cannot be tested on the internet. You have to give them a chance, and god forbid they might think it’s good value. If you don’t, don't. Simples.

I’ve got platinum seating at home and I don’t even have to sit through an evening of that crap too. Win win

Gives you something to hide behind while the puck's in our zone (most of the game), so makes total sense now I think about it.

I'm glad you agree with me that I didn't say that, Which makes it strange that you then Continue your post justifying your stance about domething we agree I didnt actually say (As is your right), And perhqps you should read the last line of my first post on this subject again. It also appears you agree with me on that too. Have a great day.👍

Blimey, some people can start an argument in a phone box.
My point, which I clearly illucidated poorly, or you would surely have understood, is that giving fans options on ways to watch the team is not necessarily “money grabbing”. Such an idea can only be tested empirically and the results will speak for themselves as to whether people like it or not. Some may, some may not. It is not compulsory.
I note that the proposal is silent over whether you can turn the sofa round after the first period.
