Brilliant signing. So good to see that Pacha is being aggressive in the Brit market and going for a rival teams top Brits rather than the lazy/easy signings. Said I another thread I doubted there would be much influx in terms of Brits and gladly prove wrong with this. If we cap this off with Hook as has been rumoured then we really will have gone from one of the weaker looking Brit packs to one of the strongest

Still 2 Brits to go if my memory serves me (1 presumably a netminder), but feeling a lot better after this signing.
Have heard a rumour that Conway is looking at Europe, which would make Ferrara the top scoring Brit in the league.

Just goes to show when you offer a bit of wonga under a Brits nose! At least panthers have someone with the foresight not to just presume they have little chance of signing a Brit as he is settled etc

Graham has just gone and got the Clarke replacement that we’ve needed for 5+ years.

Now that is more like it. No way to pick fault with that. The final Brit(+goalie) will really be important now. Ideally its Hook or Perlini, even Conway. If it is a forward though that'll be extremely interesting as it'd mean we'd be going with 6 import D.

Great work GG.
If he can find one more senior-ish Brit we look pretty good in that department, at least heading in the right direction.

Just seen on Twitter that this will complete the set and we'll have had all 3 Ferrara brothers. Are they the first trio of siblings to all play for Panthers?

Was on Twitter and saw Coventry fans saying thanks for the service he had given. Made me think it was Luke.

Definitely a statement and a strengthening of the Brit pack that we needed. Very pleased with this signing!
Nice to hear GG thanking Pacha and his own UK agent for guidance on which Brits to sign as well - when he was talking about Hopkins and the others. Knowing when to draw on others experience to bolster your own is a very good sign in an incoming coach new to the league.
Words are definitely starting to become actions now.
Will be interesting to see who else gets their head turned by this signing. A team with a strong Brit contingent is going to look appealing to those Brits/imports who know the league too.
Can't help thinking we might get signings as a result of this as well. Welcome to Panthers!

Slightly off topic, but interesting to see this news was released on twitter at the same time by BBC Nottingham Sport, both tweets bang on midday.
Obviously there seems to be some co-ordination with local media. Long may that continue!

Statement signing this if ever there was one. This will raise a few eyebrows at certain other clubs... Love it.

James Ferrara 5 seasons 06-10 , 198 games 11+15=26 50pims Robert Ferrara 1 season 07-08 , 1 game Luke did play two challenge games only with us in 12-13 The other triple would be the Flint brothers, Matt (07-08 18 games) Nick (1983-84 and 1987-88 14 games) and Tim ((1987-88 2 games 2 pims).

Great stattage. Hopefully Ferrara will improve a PP desperately in need of it.

Great stattage. Hopefully Ferrara will improve a PP desperately in need of it. From what I remember of his re-signing interview Welsh definitely sounded interested in what Luke potentially brings to the PP, especially his one timer
