What’s your prediction Spik? 3-4 OT to Panthers of course.

What's our win % since Whistle joined? He joined on 5th February but wasn't behind the bench until 11th February, so I've done figures from when he joined and when he went behind the bench. Since joining = 14 games (EIHL only). 15 points out of 28 available = 53.57% (With CC loss to Belfast included = 50%) Record in all games = RW 5 - OTW 1 - RL 6 - OTL 3 Since going behind the bench = 12 games (EIHL only). 13 points out of 24 available = 54.16% (With CC loss to Belfast included = 50%) Record in all games = RW 5 - OTW 1 - RL 6 - OTL 1

Without looking at strength of schedule we seem to be as good as we were with Wallace for his duration. Interesting.

For those who like a picture... Story of the season appears to be "Started fairly well, went downhill quickly, and have largely remained there". Attachments:

For those 12 games Whsitle has been behind the bench, the top scorer is Carozza, with 13 points, including 12 in his last 8 games, 7 in his last 3. Boivin has 12, Welsh 11, Baillargeon 10. Tousignant has 1 point in those 12 games.

This all points more to Doucet imo.... Which I think we all expected/new beforehand.

Even with Hedberg’s remarkable run of 0+1 in 19GP I’d still rather Tousignant sat out when everyone is fit.

You wait for ages for stats like that, then two come...

How many pens has Tousignant drawn where Panthers scored on the resulting PP. More than Hedbergs shocking 0+ 1 I’d hazard a guess.

That’s a good point, he did draw a penalty against Storm last Sunday and we scored the game winner on the resulting powerplay. I feel like Tousi’s lack of speed really hinders us at times, if he could rediscover his form from the start of the season then he starts over Hedberg.

Knowing who draws the penalty is something you need to be told, unless you attend every game. And really really pay attention. I can tell you how many penalties he's taken that have resulted in a PPG against? (I can get to that for every player) Can I interest you in how many times he's been on ice for a PPG for or against? (Again, name your player)

I don't get the love in for Tousignant, he's not a good agitator as can't back it up, spends time and effort trying to draw a penalty in front of goal and then bleating to the ref when it doesn't happen and doesn't contribute pointswise. Fan favourite!! From one game two years ago!

Problem is a good chunk of Panthers fans love some players because they’re funny in front of the camera, are interactive at player nights or just play the fan game with the punters. They wouldn’t know a good player from bad as long as he could chat, wave or dance !

I've thought it for years a large portion of panthers fans just wouldn't know quality hockey players from Adam! Just have to see some of the remarks in their Twitter feed to back this up! It really is embarrassing And yes Tous is garbage ! One of the best in the business in that role is the Manchester coach.. now there was a agitator and actually won fights ...

I believe it can be summed up to me that there are those that are just panthers fans and then those that are fans of the sport. Those that are solely for the club don’t want to hear or even learn about the skill set/qualities etc of a player/the team/the sport .

They wouldn’t know a good player from bad as long as he could chat, wave or dance ! to be fair to #43 he's not exactly had much opportunity to excel at the other things off the ice, but the problem is he's expected to do things on the ice that he's not capable of. He shouldn't have been on top line. He was scoring regularly in Romania, but the standard of hockey, and goal tending, is not as good as the EIHL
