Some good points in the Alps and Juniors. Fingers crossed he can score here. Out scored Perlini last season for the same team.
Didn’t have decent numbers in the EBEL but hung around and the release seems to suggest a use as a grinder. Interesting to see how he does

Young and clearly been productive in the ALPS league, this team look to have more goals in them than previous years

Looks a good pick up. You'd like to think that production in Italy will translate to goals here.
Not really sure what we have left to sign. Another 1 or 2, or maybe even 3 if we go for a spare. Think we need a power forward. We appear to lack somebody who can stand up for his team mates.

It doesn't look remotely like a tough league tbh. I don't see many d men who will intimidate this year

Carroza played with Domingue at Laval-Montreal in 2012-13

He's more of a rat type who we want getting under players skins and drawing penalties. Yes, he'll drop em if needed with similar sized players but he isn't a deterant. Not sure who else is out there aside the guy at Dundee. Cardiff have players that can do it. We have Tetlow who would probably be willing, however we need him to focus on his hockey. We dont really need an out and out tough guy. His primary job needs to be to play hockey. A colt King, Slaters type.

A promising signing, being the top scorer of his team for the last two season’s shows he can be an offensive threat, out scoring Perlini last season is another good indicator of the player we’ve got.
I know we’ve not played a game yet but I think Doucet and Wallace are assembling, what looks like, an offensive team. Ideally the forward lines will look like:
Import1 Import2 Suoranta Boivin Welsh Domingue Carozza Lane Betteridge Tousignant Kelsall
We do seem quite left hand heavy but if we can sign two standout forwards then I think we’re going to have some real scoring depth.

I think Doherty has been signed as our deterrent, he’s had plenty of fights throughout his career and looks like he’s more than capable of dealing with what’s been signed in the league so far. Haas in Dundee may be a tricky customer this season, but I’d just get Tousignant to wind him up, then have Tetlow and Doherty on the ice behind him, I think that’d be quite entertaining!

Meh, would have taken him at Clan 5 years ago, now a 4th liner at best.

Why would you have taken him 5 years ago? He had no professional experience at that point and would have been 20 years old. Carozza isn’t going to be on our first line and besides, I’d certainly rather have Carozza than a couple of the forwards the Clan have signed so far, Campbell and Southam spring to mind.

Assuming we go with a 13 import league I believe we only have 1 more import to sign. Going to look like it will be 3.5 line hockey for most teams which will be interesting. Correct me if I am wrong. Is Perlini coming back?

I was returning the "respect" given to the Clan signings. 1) It's a bad joke if it needs explaining 2) The Clan signing in question is the wrong side of 30, saying "10 years ago" makes sense as he looks to be on a downward trend. This guy is 25 and entering his prime, saying 5 years ago makes no sense in context.
