Supposedly 2,552 people did! 2552 Haha yeah right, where were they watching from Gary.....Bolero square !!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 And this is the kind of thing the cynical amongst us get really frustrated at. Why lie so obviously. That attendance means it was over 1/3 full. There is no excuse for ST holders not being there and Im sorry but if freebies dont turn up you cant count them either. Its not a suprise at all though. I actually sent a message to friends after seeing some pics saying i'd bet that Panthers would publish an attendance of over 2.5k.

I’m so glad I didn’t go tonight. Competitively, 1 home win out of 6, 5 home losses in a row, 2 wins in our last 11 games. Going off correct stats Bulmer has 1 assist in 14 competitive games, quite simply, it hasn’t worked out for him with us. I expect he is going to be one of our higher earners, Doucet needs to release him and use his wages to get somebody who can have an impact. As well as getting the “1st line” centre we’ve been missing for weeks. Has it ever been this bad? It’s been bad for six seasons. They’ve just started much earlier this season. Two year plan? I remember the last season in the old barn and the first in the arena. Black excused two cheap squads but promising the earth further down the line. The bloke is a spiv in a polo neck. Wonder how many new Bentley’s he’s had in that time?

Good game, teams competed hard. Given the comments on here I do not know why most of you even attend any games. I am sure Black will not miss your money stop attending and save all this obvious personal stress it is causing. So, applying your own theory. I dont know why you bother coming to post on here when you can save all this personal stress it's causing you. As ever some find it hard to comprehend. Those stressed, moaning negative types on here are that way because they see it as their club, for many a passion they have had engrained in their lives for many years. They care passionately for what becomes of their club and find it unbareable that they continue to be taken for mugs when the club should be thriving. If it was easy to just dismiss it and walk away most would, but it's not that easy(even though some may not admit it).

Dont worry because if this carries on black will no longer be making profit ! ...and it will be all the fans, sorry, customers fault. It’ll be Blacks fault for peddling a faulty “product” !

I remember he even lied at a Steelers Christmas game just to show a bigger crowd than Steelers. On Boxing Day i was stood with him during the game in Sheffield (yes I know 😩) when the crowd was announced as 7025. He turned to me and said xxxx xxx there’s never that many here,ok tomorrow there’s going to be 7028.......and guess what, yep there was. If you don’t believe me,go check it from the Xmas games about ten years ago.

I thought the Golovkovs-Malmquist-Hansen line was by far the best tonight. Lepine was pretty good too.
The speed of the GMH line was challenging for Storm, they also seem to have created some good chemistry already. That line alone had perhaps 3 or 4 good goal scoring chances but flopped on a couple unfortunately. I dread to think how we'd have played without Hansen. Golovkovs and Malmquist seem to be doing a lot of hard work, getting the puck in deep and then finding Hansen who is also a hard worker, and he just creates the spaces and opportunities he needs. As for Lepine, he made several hard hits which caused turnovers or broke up Storms offense, great to see and his teammates loved it too, as well as the fans.
Not much can be said for anyone else though. Don't think Carr was too bad, had moments of excellence, but also sub-standard moments.
I don't buy the attendance figures either, but regardless, at least a quarter, probably pushing a third of the actual attendance were undoubtedly freebies. Blocks 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 19 all had large amounts of obvious freebies in. Can't remember the last time I walked onto the concourse at the end of the period and it be like a literal ghost town, not a soul walking or waiting for food/drink.

Hey, this is in no way getting at those who have gone to the game tonight. They are hockey fans and Nottingham supporters.
Would there have been any booing or was there much clapping in a game played here? Quiet or surprisingly not a bad cheer/applause/shouting for such low attendance.
Just trying to ascertain what sort of person had gone. The happy clappers, town drinkers pre nightclub or hardened fans.

There were several chants throughout the game and clapping during the breaks in play but that's about it. We had some moments where we played very well and there was a fair bit of clapping then but as soon as Storm got the 3-3 goal it went silent and then they score in OT and people began flooding out. I'd say there were no more than 500 in there to clap the players off after MoM and even then I'd say less than half put any effort into clapping. Didn't hear any booing. It was a definite mix of newbies with little understanding of the game, small amount of drinkers and the rest I'd say were hardened Panthers fans with the expectation of a loss.

For what it’s worth, it seems that the Panthers org can’t even put much effort into lying, as somebody has noted that official attendances tend to be the first two digits reversed into the second to get the full number.
Tonight’s count: 2552 Devils count on Sunday: 4994 Steelers count the other week: 6116
Twice is an anecdote, three times is a conspiracy.

I am sure Black will not miss your money stop attending and save all this obvious personal stress it is causing. The problem is that I still care about the Panthers (I started going to games 12 years ago, I watched a lot and spent a lot) and I know how awesome a hard-working team is. However, the Panthers haven’t put the effort in for too long and it’s been the same mistakes for years. I want to go to games, but my expectation is that it’ll annoy me yet again, and on top of that the price for the entire evening is getting high. I can see this being the last season I keep up with the team.

It’s interesting - I was a season ticket holder and used to go to a lot of away games also.
These days I look at the fixture list see what games I fancy and go and watch ithem with lad. We have a meal beforehand in Nottingham , have a good catch up as we both have busy lives.
I think whatever the score we enjoy the day, I don’t get wound up by the team anymore - if we lose it’s not the officials faults - it’s because the other team were better, or smarter, or more committed.
Funnily enough with not giving a toss about the result is you can appreciate the opposition teams - you can appreciate the oppositions good players, committed players, and you don’t watch our players throughout tinted glasses - you can actually see how poor some of them are!

I noticed a few happy clappers on Twitter even say they may even stand a chance of winning the 50/50 and Shirt raffle last night as there was only 1 man and his dog there !! We really are finished ... we have a owner who's as tight as they come.. a DOH who's royally cocked up his recruitment and a coach who strugs his shoulders after another defeat who seems clueless in the extreme..

Meanwhile, back at the plot, talking about the actual game, it’s dreadful “game management” to concede a GTG so late and OT was horrible. Panthers got possession and couldn’t get a man open for a minute or so (it seemed) if their lives depended on it. Storm get the puck, suddenly they have a man going in one on one and he passes it into the net while Carr seemed to show him an awful lot to pass at from where I was sat. I’m still not wholly convinced by Carr, I must say.

Looking at the highlights of the other goals he didn’t seem great on any of them....he’s just not good or consistent enough, nowhere near.
