Just curious how many people would actually be trying it out?

It's not for me. I hope those that want to can get it to work though, and don't get shafted by Gary like last time. I do feel it's been setup to fail, but we'll see.

I really hope it works, I’ve been to two games this season and both games have been DEAD. I think Gary screwing the fans over last time they we’re trying to create an atmosphere is going to have an affect though. I would go and sit in the block but I don’t think I bring myself to paying to watch this rubbish.

I will be with 3 others. I do think the club need to organise it a bit better though. I can see it now, we all turn up and nobody’s brought a drum😂 Maybe have 2 regular people with a drum to lead the chants.
We have a small pool of fans on here and a lot of them are apathetic to the club, myself included, but I don’t think we’ll see a positive reaction on here.
Imo though this is something that’s need improving for years and now the club have given us the chance I want to get involved.

What did Moran do last time to stop it? Fans that wanted to make some noise at the games chose to do so in a certain block. Gained some traction, GM noticed and thought why not put the price up on that block. Nobody likes too much noise at a hockey game after all...

I'd love to do it, love it to be a success and keep it going. But, it takes a lot more effort than most people think. The Hamburg Freezers fans used to have meetings before games to hand out song sheets etc. They had a plan of what chants and drums would be used at certain points. I went to the DEL Winter Classic in Köln last January, the organisation of it was unreal. They had guys with megaphones just facing the crowd and not watching the game whatsoever. Its brilliant when it works but it's not as easy as you think

There was more organisation with previous efforts and they failed.

We could go to the same extent, with song sheets etc we need to gauge the interest and the only way is to see who turns up. We’ve got to give it a go, otherwise we’re just going to continue having the dull games like we had today. Are you going to be there?

Other than the chap with the bongos I don't think I saw another person in block 19. Can't fault his effort but sounded more like a dripping tap than anything to get behind.

Hope this dies on its backside (which I expect it will) Why? For the reason others have said.. why stick it in block 19 where it will have zero impact on the atmosphere. Block 10 would be a good block as its central relatively small and the noise of a drum will be heard alot better

Block 10 would be a good block as its central relatively small and the noise of a drum will be heard alot better I agree, the problem is there’s season ticket holders there, who will more than not likely complain. If we make the best we can out of Block 19 then maybe they might look at moving it somewhere where it can have more impact.
