I think the roster mistakes have been realised & admitted to which is a novel turn of events. So if we can go get a sniper/goalscorer, whatever you want to label it, then great. Time for Gui to prove the job title. Question is though.... Why did it take them two months to find out and realise what the fans (who supposedly know nothing) could see back in late August/early September ? 🤔 Benefit of the doubt perhaps or just not wanting to pull that trigger. Other than that I'm not sure... But I haven't seen the team play so don't want to comment on individual players. They definitely know more about the Panthers roster, Ice Hockey players & Ice Hockey in general than many if not all who post in this forum.

(I think I can go out on a limb and say that he's currently Panthers top scorer and best player by a mile. And captain.) Also at no point have I said Herr is a bad signing, but I think he will be a Good 3rd liner nothing more Nowhere near for me. The numbers just arent there. Have a word. Looks like a Parent, Loyns, Henderson signing to me, all of whom offered virtually nothing in terms of points output. And can he also do it on big ice ? Yes, most people were positive about Herr, but some weren't overly so. "The fans" are as wrong as they are right some of the time. A broken clock is right twice a day.

But it depends on which fans you’re looking at,the ones who know their stuff or the ones who think a quality player is good at quiz nights !

Hes hugely over achiving based on his numbers. It happens, some players just click with a team. However the vast majority of players fall more or less where they are expected to. Problem atm is there are a bunch of players way below where they should be.

Thing is with Herr though as he’s said many times that he was forced to play a role in the AHL which meant he couldn’t put up the points he might have. Now he has more license to attack he’s showing he’s well capable of scoring so he seems more like a Blair Riley type to me

I think we could have a task on our hands retaining Herr for the entire season. They liked him in the AHL just playing a minor, 3rd/4th line checking forward role.. and now he's proving he can play a good offensive game. This team we have has very little offence too. Herr is our offence at the moment. I'm sure he's getting similar or better money/conditions than in the AHL but if he continues on this trend I could see him departing for better things. I'd love for him to stay the full season though, if he carries on like he's started he'd be a strong player to build a roster around.

Very true and...this is “where Panthers go from here” IF they truly want to build. If Herr continues to produce then next year yes he’s going to get tempting offers from elsewhere, but this is where Panthers have to change their ways if they really do want to build. Instead of letting a good player go next year like they usually do they’ve got to step up and do what’s needed to keep him and if that means finding an extra few hundred quid a week for him then do it. Otherwise he leaves and next year it will be back to square one again.

Wallace said we are looking for someone who can score goals and someone who’s physical. Andrew Crescenzi is both, he currently a free agent and he was a teammate of Sam Herr in 17-18 that would be a great signing.

I can see Panthers bringing in two euros as theyll be no paperwork required.
You can forget those mentioned above .. £££

And we'll be still discussing this in 5 years time when NB is still owner Highly Likely, however I did hear an interesting rumour today. I must stress it is a rumour and one which is probably 3rd or 4th had of which I dont know where it originated. Im not sure if it's hope on my part, but it does make some sense. Essentially Black is still 100% set on a London EIHL team but the EIHL board wont allow him to have 3 teams. If he wants it he will have to sell one of the other 2. Panthers are the prefered option as the sale price and profit against purchase price would be higher. Of course there will be many people with different opinions on which would be better to sell from a business sense. I can see the logic in that. It could also point to why there is less money around for the Panthers roster. Equally perhaps Clan have had more investment to make them more attractive to a potential buyer. Who knows, I certainly dont. If nothing else it's a case of fingers crossed and lets see what happens. If he does sell then it's fingers crossed again we get a good owner and not another Cowboy.

With the league title quickly becoming yet another pipe dream even before we get to November, it really is time to empty the stadium to send a clear message to NB.
I know its tough on the people who were taken in by the spin for yet another season and foolishly(?) renewed their season ticket, but look at it this way, you have already spent your money and by going to games you just help to give the impression that the fans are content with the continued woeful under performance of the club.
So DON'T GO, save the travel costs, the food and drink money for a few games and help send a clear message to NB that enough is enough.
If the attendances dropped to more like 2500~3000, with just the casual night outters in attendance, then maybe, just maybe NB might get the message.
Season ticket holders - it's down to you, if you love the Panthers but want to see success, then stop going for a few games - if you don't, you will probably stop going all together - starting next season when you finally decide not to renew your season ticket and walk away from hockey for good!

Whilst I agree to an extend, im not sure it will make much difference to NB. He wont be counting bums on seats he will just look at attendance figures. Im fairly sure that number always includes ST holders regardless of if they turn up or not. Now if 2,000 people less go and therefor Merch, 50/50 and concession sales drop then that may catch his eye. This is where I agree with you and the impact will be felt. I'm comitted to the next few games as causual friends are coming along but if its still the same after that I will be doing exactly what you suggest. It's just not worth making an effort for.

This team needs 3 first line forwards, it’s clear Doucet has not been given the same funds as the rest of the challengers. We need to see these players come in, otherwise we know the money has not been freed up.
If we’re going to make a statement then surely the remaining cup games are the best opportunity?

The team is so wrong Doucet is complicit. The team is a million miles wrong and someone needs to hold a sword while Doucet is pushed onto it IMO.

Thats been floating around for some time. Stay and train in Milton Keens - travel down to play. Wembley had problems with ice plant/ height of the ice. As I understood it, it was his bother who was going to be the owner of the London club.

Nothing has changed. Until Black and Moran go there is no way for the club to move forward.

I haven’t been so far; feel detached from the club in all honesty. The last few seasons have been awful IMO. I have a freebie ticket for a game in late October due to the wife’s employer however...

One of the better players I've seen come up as being released/free agent. Undersized but did well in the ECHL, looks like a potential goalscorer. Dante Salituro. www.eliteprospects.com/player/169595/dante-salituroHe was signed with Indy Fuel before taking a try-out with SaiPa in the Finnish Liiga. Also attended the Rockford AHL camp and left to head to Finland. There isn't a great deal of players on the market currently, and some that people have suggested on Twitter look complete gash. Regardless, we need a signing soon.

🤔 Plus he would have known about the upcoming retirement weeks before anyone else.
