Not sure. I struggle to keep up with the rules and structure of GB hockey. Either way we look energetic but low grade.

Someone gets me... . You proper luzzed it away last season, I'd expect a rebound & for you to cruise it a little more this year with Steelers & Giants running you mildly close. Panthers are playing for 4th. I think a lot depends on whether Fox is as good at coaching as he is building a team. I think they’ll do well. CHL might be an issue for Giants as it has been for both our teams, not so much the distraction but the travel and emphasis on playing a different type of game i.e. defending more! Lol Flames improving their depth slightly, Clan improving their roster from a decent run last season, it’s going to be an even better league this season hopefully. And apparently Blaze have an amazing netminder (just hope he lasts more than a dozen games) It might be for the team that has what appears to have spent even more and improved on a squad that really should have won at a canter last season but as for us alsorans making up the middle of the pack I suspect its going to be yet another long season looking on enviously at teams which are supposed to be our rivals but in reality are miles ahead in terms of squad quality...

Both of Belfast’s new players look okay. Farnham is the bigger signing but his career has been going downward in terms of production. But similar numbers to Herr. Dupay took a year off and did okay at ECHL level....had we signed him, people would have said “typical Panthers signing” None are the studs people were boasting about It’s a strange situation in Belfast, a very high turnover, they’ve recruited good players from within the league, Long and Lake, but will there be pressure on their new imports to have the same impact as their old core. Also, they’ve currently got 12 imports signed and they need 3 more players to run 4 lines, they need to find a Brit from somewhere. I’m pretty sure they’ll sign spare imports for the CHL though.

Can't be that difficult to find a Brit of Kelsall's current ability, he's getting a regular shift for us at the moment. Boxill would do the job, don't think he's signed anywhere yet.
Their new signings look good, the year off would be a question mark for Dupuy but otherwise I wouldn't be unhappy. They've added guys like Lake and Long already, you can see where a decent number of goals should come from for them.

To clarify, I think they look far better than us on paper, I’m just unsure if they’ll win the league again this season, taking into account Cardiff look to have improved and Sheffield have definitely improved. I still think we need two players to come in, with experience, who we can expect to rely on.

That would be a top signing. Farnham looks like he loses his head too easily? May take a number of suspensions unless Keefe can calm him down.

Farnham will bring a lot of energy to their line up, he’s a modern day Cam Janssen! I’d have loved him on our team! He’ll get their fans fired up and the rest of his team mates!! i wouldnt day he is like Cam to be honest.

Absolutely loving the Giants signing of Farnham. Complete nutcase potentially but to play at that level he must know his role.

Some are going to miss him, others are glad he’s gone to free up a spot for a young player. So clearly you either live him or hate him

Best signing of the lot for me, pure impact player. He'll bring so much for them.

That’s what you call a quality signing. 👍 It's a whole other level, as is their budget. Just hope they take the league/trophies from the other two big spenders. Rather these guys than the others.

Keefe knows his recruitment, building a new team again. Very impressive signings. I’m jealous tbh, I’d love it if we signed Farnham. Every team should have a player like him, it’s players like him that make this sport unique and we need them to help the sport grow, to attract people, especially in this country.

Likewise, it's a bums on seats entertainment signing. Love to have Farnham at Panthers. I really like the team Keefe has built. Really impressive. Liked him as a player, like him as a coach. If not us (& it won't be), then them.

Jake Morissette retiring, points on the wane a bit last year but a loss for Cardiff.
