Roy would be a excellent 2nd liner for most teams. If hes healthy and his body can withstand the season of cause Thats a big if. I think he's a pure gamble.

If hes kept in shape all summer. Devils signed Assalin and he didn't play for a year. Panthers signed Ryan a few years ago off the back of a bad injury and he didn't miss a game. Clan obviously think it's a risk worth taking

If he works out then great, be scared rest of the EIHL.
I'm just a bit worried but I'm willing to give him time.

I thought Roy openly said he couldnt do it anymore because his body was shot and the pain was too much. I dunno maybe im wrong. I just know i wouldnt be pleased if it was us signing him.

Anyone can go on elite prospects and pluck any old name ! well, it was linked to the photo, so it's hardly 'any old name' is it..unless that's not a photo of Will Smith appearing in 'Fresh Prince of Bel Air'.

If that pic was a hint of some sort (although I'd remain cautious of anything like that after Danny Taylor-gate...) I'd say this guy below would make a lot more sense than Shane Prince, especially given the Brit F spot left by Farmer. www.eliteprospects.com/player/44382/jack-prince

Or you're all barking up the wrong tree and it has something to do with the jumbotron as the guy is a graphic designer

Is it that bad though? He’s be the best back up in the league and capable of stepping in as a starter

Upside: Huge upgrade on Gospel Downside: BIG wage last year + his brother I’ve said it before, Devils do well enough with Bowns and Whistle is a lot younger. I think Whistle is better than Bowns was at a similar age. I started putting 2 + 2 together when Gospel was shipped off plus Sheffield needing money to upgrade just about everywhere. I could very very easily be wrong 😊

Very inconsistent for us but sharing with Carr he should be well rested and he's more than capable of 30 solid games. Sometimes struggles back-to-back.
His brother is very poor and won't be any better than Kelsall who was more potential.

I'm not a fan. Also does he count as a league Brit, I remember some confusion about that?
He is younger than I thought he was though in fairness to him. Provided he leaves his brother in Yorkshire I could probably put up with it.

Logically it makes some sense, but realistically I can't see it.
I believe Panthers are looking at a 'Munson type' as back up.

Provided he leaves his brother in Yorkshire I could probably put up with it. He is definitely a league brit. And honestly while his brother is a poor player, I'd take him as a spare brit (assuming they both count) behind Kelsall and Hazeldine.
