He wouldn’t get into either a Cardiff or Belfast reserve team in a flu epidemic.

On current form u wouldnt keep anyone. A few wins, some goals, and one or two might save themselves. What I will say is that the players signed after the start of the season (Richard, Bolduc, Stewart) have not brought anything to the team, that the expected stars (Kovacs, Henderson) arent as good as hoped, and last season's standouts (Pither, Perlini) haven't maintained form. Which leaves Guptill, but you wouldnt build a team around him.

I think you're getting confused between grafters and those who put in 110% effort every shift !

The only imports I’d consider keeping are Olsen, Rissling, Guptill and Pither. The rest can all go.
Another thing to consider is Betteridge will lose his u23 tag next year which means we will have one Brit too many. Surely means either Gospel or Lachowicz will be cut. Personally I’d cut them both. Sign 2 important netminders and an u23 nettie and make a move for Ciaran Long

I think you're getting confused between grafters and those who put in 110% effort every shift ! No, grafters that are actually effective. Didn’t miss him when he was out and he isn’t doing anything now he’s back. No better or worse than the rest but easier to upgrade on than a five year old phone contract. Need the type of players that play for the shirt like Betteridge and who can actually be bothered and no matter what way you look at it 99% of the current team can’t.

Lee and Lacho should be released in April. They are too comfortable here and need moving onto a new environment

Sign 2 important netminders and an u23 nettie and make a move for Ciaran Long I don't believe he will. Although the EIHL website makes no mention of its own rules (obviously) I think the ruling is based on January 1st, with the year moving forward 1 each season. So this year it's 1/1/1995, next will be 1996. So I think he still sneaks in under the cut off next year too.

They are too comfortable here and need moving onto a new environment I’d happily drop both and bring in some young lads who will make the most of the opportunity. Yes they’re going to make mistakes but so do our ‘experienced’ brits. I honestly think our constant never changing Brit pack is part of the problem, far too comfortable and that attitude seeps into the imports. I don’t think it was a coincidence that after we jettisoned Danny Meyers that we saw a significant increase in effort from our brits and shock horror we also won the league.

Nevertheless i'd still like to see him cut and go for long. Maybe Luke Ferrara for Gospel and get an s23 goalie. Can't see it happening though

True but we also replaced Danny Meyers with Johnathan Weaver which was a huge upgrade in talent and a hefty reduction in verbal crap. I’d keep Stevie Lee,but Lacho can go right now as he has been a complete waste of space for about four years.

Olsen is by far our best player and would get in any team in this league. Whilst Guptil has some issues, believe me when he is gone we will hear more about those, I would keep him as he has proved he can do a job. Pither maybe, again proved he can do it here. Perlini, Betteridge and Tetlow I would keep. Rest can go.

In my opinion...
KEEP: GARNETT MUNSON OLSEN RISSLING GUPTILL PITHER BOLDUC RICHARD
MAYBE: HUGHES KOVACS
And then Brits I'd keep all unless we can get Long in place of Lacho.

KEEP. Olsen (obviously) Guptill (quality goal scorer which we had missed for a few seasons) Hughes(let him be physical again) Rissling( good defender can throw monster hits and fights well. And he is still young) Munson( got potential to build on, could turn him into a starter) Gospel(Brit) Tetlow(Brit) Hazeldine(Brit) Lee(not many Brit defenders out there) Perlini (Brit) Farmer(Brit) Betteridge(Brit)
MAYBE. Richard ( been good but not great. Upgradable) Pither (good player. Stupid penalties and not as many points as I expected this year) Lacho(if we can bring in a decent Brit forward lacho has to go, been terrible for seasons) Stewart(obviously a quality player. Makes some stupid turnovers. See how he is when he is match fit and that.) Bolduc( isn’t anything special. Not great point output but a dirty player and good agitator) Garnett (if he doesn’t retire)
Leave. Lepine(can go now) Billingsley Kovacs Hurtubise(can go now) Rheault(not seen much but is fairly injury prone) Henderson( can find better)
Might have missed one or two.

KEEP Any player who would get a start in the current Devils/Giants teams.
GET RID Any players who wouldn’t.
Players who say hi when you pass them in the street (if they haven’t seen you coming first of course), try to laugh at your jokes at quiz nights or accept your Facebook friends requests isn’t a basis for wanting to keep them.
