A player with tonnes of ability, far too much for the EIHL. Also worth noting that his NHL contracts for the last 3 years totalled $4m. Doesn't need money or a degree so not sure what he'd get out if coming here. what's not to love about playing in the FABULOUS NIC, its on every players bucket list... Seems to be on Chris Stewart's!

Back at the plot, some nuggets from last night.
As far as I know, that's only Panthers second "in game" penalty shot this season? Brett Perlini has scored a point on Panthers last 5 goals scored, and has been on the ice for the last 8 goals scored for either side in Panthers games. He has 7 points in his last 3 games, it took him 13 games to get his first 7. For all of the 8 goals except the ENG last night, Hurtubise has been on with him. Pither's assist on the ENG was his first point in 5 games. Hughes was on ice for all Panthers goals, taking him to a team-leading +17 by my reckoning.
Oh, and Chris Stewart is a pretty good signing if his heart is only half in it...

Billingsley (not iced) it was then. With three goalies on the score sheet. Gospel was announced as a scratch by Ken (Stef currently unwell) along with Billingsley. Another pitiful official mistake on the GRS then.
