My post from Friday night:
"Pathetic. Utterly pathetic.
How people continue to defend this team amazes me. Pick up a few wins against Guildford and MK and suddenly we were back in the title chase.
Same old same old."
Nothing has changed, we are a laughing stock yet again. I'm not even angry at one individual, the club is rotten from the top down and a certain percentage of our fan base feed that also. As Rob says, we get the club we deserve.
Stop giving them your money!

Goes to show how important Biggs and Doty were. By far the two most physical players. We donāt hit at all anymore. Other than the Brits and guptill all the forwards can go. Keep rissling,Hughes and Olsen on defence and the rest of the defence can go other than the Brits of course. Garnett didnāt have a good game but he solid all season. Should have stuck Munson in after the 5th. Donāt even care anymore itās that bad.

The important thing is to not get too down or something, and keep "pointing".

Can't pass. Can't shoot. Can't defend.
Oh look, it's December again.

Thatās as bad as I can remember (well, since Tuesday and Friday anyway). Guptill fully deserved his mom. Plan A get the puck to #27. Plan B errrrrmm.........
Complete and utter garbage that stank the building out, and still people applauded them off.
Fast becoming the worst Panthers team in recent years. Even worse than the Berube season!

Another season of seemingly good players turning up, starting well and going off the boil. I fail to believe that we continue to sign so many bad players. It's not possible. I still think Corey was here to long amd became part of the problem, but something else is still a key contributing factor. No way are all these players bad players suddenly. Not saying it's directly their fault but it's time the secondary coaching was cleared out. Rich wanted his team and got told to make do. I can see him walking at the end of the season tbh. Change the GM(I never go on him. Simple for me, new blood needed)and see how the next season goes.
Oh why bother wont happen. If only.

Whilst Gary dusts off the 'sold out' signs for boxing day, I'll dust off this again - albeit a little earlier than expected this year... Attachments:

How bad was that! Something seriously wrong in this club! There is most definitely something badly wrong at this club. Itās the whole culture surrounding it thatās wrong, very wrong indeed,it starts with Black and Moran, feeds to the coaches and the players every year. There is just no winning mentality or desperation with Panthers, none whatsoever,Jesus weāve even been happy lately taking a point from teams that quite frankly shouldnāt even be able to compete with Panthers IF the Panthers wanted it. Trouble is they just donāt want it,all they want is false dawns, the arena three quarters full and the tills ringing ! Corey,Cherno or whoever,it doesnāt matter who coaches this club,we could have Mike Babcock and even then probably nothing would change. The whole ethos surrounding Nottingham Panthers is pathetic, utterly pathetic !

I agree, I have huge respect for what Corey did but something needed to change and I think he knew that aswell. But as the odd few who liked to blame him for everything itās funny how weāre in the same situation . I havenāt seen one. āCherno out ā yet but it wonāt be long.

I've bought my first match ticket this season.
GB in Coventry 6th February. Wishing the best for our nation in May's World Championship.
I'm fully aware of what to expect at Panthers games now.Season after season .

What a bloody joke this club has turned into!
Black and Moran should be ashamed of themselves but I bet they aren't.

And guess what.....itās not Coreys fault..lol Itās not right now. But for a long time he helped build the bad non desperate culture around the club with his lacksadaisical attitude and unwillingness to fire players, leading to a cushy no pressure situation around the dressing room.

Iād happily see cherno leave at the end of this season but at the same time Iād give him time to adapt to the league. If he stays and itās like this next year then Iāll be saying cherno out.

And guess what.....itās not Coreys fault..lol Itās not right now. But for a long time he helped build the bad non desperate culture around the club with his lacksadaisical attitude and unwillingness to fire players, leading to a cushy no pressure situation around the dressing room. As much as I hate Sheffield, they are ruthless and won't flinch in sacking someone mid season, if they do not meet the standard. They know that lack of success on the ice means less fans through the door. Doug Christianson was dispatched around this time of the season due to the on ice performance and style of hockey. The issue is here is that Black knows that despite the result the people will continue to flock through the door, year on year season tickets are up. So where is the motivation from the owner to take action when he is making a mint! Only last season he secured a massive sponsorship which will have no doubt lined made the club, on paper, far more competitive financially! Has that money been invested in the team, as on paper we look the same as last year? Until the actual culture changes from the top down and people are held accountable for poor results absolutely nothing will change! We may get lucky one year and sign the right mix of guys as other teams may have injuries or recruit poorly, like Sheffield have this year, but don't expect consistent league challenges, it just won't happen. And just to be clear, I don't expect the team to win every single game, but I do expect them to compete hard and I expect the coach to have a plan B and C, when things are not working out. All I see is a bunch of ill disciplined players, who look clueless on the ice, from the D to the forwards up front, with the exception of a few.. However, it is far from pretty to watch! And yes, we had a good run, scraping a good run of wins, and a little purple patch where we found the net more than we had been doing, but we are terribly inconsistent! Anyway 4 losses on the bounce and counting, got a way to go to match last December though, didn't it get to ten in a row?

What do you think got that waste of space Lawrence gassed on game day a while back? I thought he pretty much lived in there. Iād give him time to adapt to the league Hmm, if we were playing stuff you (well, I, beauty is in the eye of etc) wanted to watch every week, I'd agree. Sadly we're as dull as we have been for the last few years.

If this is true, and Pither is included in this group, then I think he needs to stay away as he has gone off the boil drastically. I know they need to be able to live there lifes but why are they allowed to do this the night before a game?! What do you think got that waste of space Lawrence gassed on game day a while back? For us or Sheffield?
