Who plays in goal this game, then Sunday and Tuesday ? I’d guess Garnett both games at the weekend then it will be Munson in the cup on Tuesday.

Since the Belfast debacle, Mike’s only conceded 12 goals in 7 games. Mike and the defence seem to have clicked lately and they’re giving us a chance to win, I’d go with him for the 2 away then give Munson game time on Tuesday, and Gospel if the tie is the bag with a period or two to go.

Panthers to win 5-2, Hopefully someone reminds Linden Springer he’s not the biggest dog in the yard after his antics in the last meeting

Poor 2nd period by panthers so far. Look like they thought they had it in the bag!

We really need to up the intensity in the 3rd period. We need players to step up and be counted now, we can still do this.

I’ll take a point from that poo hole but we’ve shot ourselves in the foot and it’s quite frustrating. We weren’t clinical like we’ve seen in recent weeks, Pither has, and still seems to be, struggling to be the difference maker he was at that start of this season, the number of odd man rushes and breakaways he squanders is ridiculous.
I don’t want to criticise Garnett because he’s played tremendously the last few weeks, but he cost us for the second goal, giving up a big round, then he was at fault for the third as he went wandering, lost the puck, put as back under pressure and they scored. Very frustrating.
Looking on the bright side that’s 14 points out of our last 16 in the league. If we can get a result tomorrow then 3 points out of 4 this weekend won’t be bad. Back to work tomorrow boys!

Disappointed to lose but not disheartened. Win again tonight and 3/4 points this weekend will still be a success. Hopefully the game between Devils/Giants will be a regulation win for one. Right now, doesn’t matter who but then this point is a point gained

The lack of a reaction on this thread probably tells you that the last few weeks of results across the league have made people realise that results like this will happen. We got a point on the road and as said 2 points tonight and it's still a decent weekend. We have had our fair share of the bad results already though so this lost point cannot lead to another dip. I'm sure it's just a little blip and the good form will continue. To be honest it better had tonight. Rivalry or not Coventry are in hideous form and nothing like the team that looked dangerous to start the season.

Another point given away. This is no way to challenge for championships or to reward travelling supporters who give their time and money. Poor show Panthers.

Not often I will criticise a player, but Guptill didn't half phone in that last shift. One wonders why he's on in OT, given his somewhat mercurial talent and indifferent attitude to the defensive side of the game. Or maybe that's the risk, and he could just as easily score a goal from nothing?
Of the 4 Panthers league games lost in OT so far, Olsen and Kovacs have been on together, as 2 of the 3 skaters, for 3 of them.

Guptill and Kovacs are too relaxed when it comes to the defensive side of the game, it’s strange that Rich plays them in those situations. It’s not like 5 on 5 where sometimes you can cheat and stay high, you do that when it’s 3 on 3 you guarantee odd man rushes and you get punished, as we’ve seen.

If he had those qualities he’d be nowhere near our league.

(Other NHL teams are available) Not enough work rate, not enough attention to D, not physical enough, not quite good enough a skater etc etc.
