It could just be that Belfast is more appealing than the other 3 places, in this instance, or maybe they didn't want to host etc.

Ok they had snow,but arena and city wise surely no comparison to Nottingham and the fabulous NIC. (and no I’m not having a go at Panthers).

Was perhaps closer to our competitors than Nottingham? Plus in terms of a picturesque location, if that matters, it knocked the World Fabulous out cold.

If I remember rightly, The NIC was hosting Speed Skating(I believe) and the other teams refused to move it to the following weekend. I think that we would have hosted it if the other teams agreed to the date change

It wasn't all the other teams, it was just Ritten who objected. I'm glad they hosted it to be honest, it was a lovely place to go to and winning it away from home was all the more sweeter because of it. It was good to beat them with the cup on the line in their own back yard because of what they did
