What testimonial...LEE's? SO have I missed the chance of the programme that I collect? Ask on Facebook fan page or the official twitter page, sure Calum will answer you. In this short time, I believe I've secured someone to get me one.Selling on Friday also I think. If not - I will follow your advice. Ta, Mick

Watching Alex Guptil , i cant help but see the similarity with Chris Lawrence . An undoubted talent but goes missing all too often and only seems to commit to a play when he feels like it . Yes i know he has a bunch of goals to date but the rest of his game seems sadly lacking . Is he committed ? Stand out disappointment for me unfortunately .......

Brilliant at times but only plays for ten minutes a game.

Well, there is a reason all these players are over here and not playing for the Leafs or the Penguins. It's a different reason for them all, but there's a reason nonetheless. Guptill's appears to be that he's not the world's most focused defensive forward, but he's a complete sniper at times, and that's what gives him a career in hockey.

Don't forget, the last month or so has been mostly on the road, only 3 of 9 games in that time at home. That may or may not make a difference to the perception. Kovacs is, in the 9 games in October, 0+5, -1. Being fair, Guptill is 5+0 and -4 in the same stretch. Pither is top at 4+6, +1 in that time. Out of interest what’s Hurtubise’s stats over that stretch? 2+5, -2.

Defense is a harder one for me. We clearly have a problem conceeding in bunches. Rissling is way down on point production, however i feel hes quite good defesivley. Lepine isnt the same player atm, hes not awful but he doesnt feel like the rock was. Hughes and billingsley ive barely noticed tbh which is normally a good thing. Olsen seems to be on for a lot of our goals but hes clearly a good player so im really not sure. I think a large part of our defesive problem stems from us not working as a unit. Im hoping one or two replacements up front could shake things back into shape. We have the players to compete but something is way off atm. Individually I think the D are very good players and early doors they showed they can defend well as a unit. This hasn't been happening recently so why is this? Problem mentally? Some of the D seem better finishers than the forwards!

I can't see any of the defencemen leaving or being gassed.
If anyone goes it'll be either Biggs, Guptill or VanKleef. Though there are a couple more who need to up their games pretty sharpish.
