Excellent pick up... Good size and a two way forward at that. Definitely the top line centre we need . This guy could be excellent with Guptil !

Not sure he's the type of player you need? Was good in North America but in three European seasons he's scored 9 goals. Not a Rheault replacement for me.
Also not going to help your penalty troubles.
Be interested to see how this pans out.

He's pretty much as good as you're likely to pick up in a league like this once the season has started .

I hope we keep VanKleef too. I've like what I've seen of him so far. Certainly puts the effort in and has a rocket of a shot.

Good stuff, recognisable name for me. Good numbers at Portland.
Any reason why he played a truncated season last year? (Per EP.)
Edit - hadn't read the story.

Definitely (as always?) a 'wait and see' on this signing... stats are unreliable indicators at best. I'm liking the fact that he's a versatile two-way player... let's hope he can rack up some points this weekend in Scotland.
Welcome to Nottingham, Alexandre... even if most of us won't see you for a couple of weeks!

He looks like a good signing and what we need. If he comes to play he should be impressive, happy with that signing. What a pleasant change too that when we needed a centre we’ve actually signed a centre ! 😀
Good stuff Cherno. 👍

Looks excellent. Not too dissimilar career path to Patrick Dwyer so if Bolduc can come up with similar levels of performance for Panthers we'll have an excellent player on our hands.
Hope this dispels the impression of Panthers apathy to injuries and getting in replacements. It looks like we've just waited long enough to find a top end guy rather than jumping straight in and getting a Westerling like Shuff have done

Yay, I got something right for once.
Good signing this. Just hope he isn't on the wind down.

(although not with someone with a poor track record like Westerling). They brought VanKleef in to fill the gap on a temporary basis... now they've got someone permanent. It will be interesting to see if VanKleef is kept on the roster as well...

Welcome to Nottingham Alex. Looks like we’ve got a player with a vast amount of experience and leadership, he’s been a captain in the AHL whilst putting up big points, which is encouraging considering the style of play here is similar over there.
He looks like he’ll be another aggressive player who will stand up and fight anybody, there’s a video of him fighting John Scott on YouTube which doesn’t end well for him😂, but those are the type of players you want on your team.
A good signing imo and I’m surprised the Squeelers haven’t signed a player like him.

Actually the more I think about this the more sense it makes. We don't need goals, we need brains/experience & a two way element through the middle. Our top centres aren't two way by nature. I'm liking this a lot.

Keep Van Kleef too as he seems ideal for a fill in job,he’ll get plenty of games with our injury luck.

Every team needs two way centres. Rich knows what he's doing. If you've been captain at AHL you must be well respected as well. This guy could be the difference in the more trickier fixtures

In the AHL...
Patrick Dwyer played 354 at 0.55 ppg
Alex Bolduc played 433 at 0.61 ppg
And Bolduc is 2 years younger...

Also important, I think, is that Rich Chernomaz has seen him play... this isn't just another 'blind' signing based upon stats and recommendations.

He's a playmaker by mould & as we've found out this season Perlini's form isn't ideal for centre.
