As others have said.... Best of luck to him. Stayed in Nottingham at least two seasons too long in my opinion. Lausitzer might be the perfect place for him to go. A lot of young players & players who played at a lower level in Germany. A lot of players he has a chance to develop as he did here... The perfect project for him as it were.....
Very little quality seemingly in the squad. The stand out being Anders Eriksson... To be honest I think most of not all EIHL teams would beat them...
Though the most important question has to be.... Will he play set lines? 🤔😁

Good luck to him, sounds like there's possible progression within their system too so a really good opportunity for him.

Have to say after his CHL campaign I thought he’d have taken a step up, sadly this feels like a step down.
Wish him every success and will follow the progress of his team.

On face value you make a decent point about how it seems a step backwards. However this could turn out to be an astute career move by Corey. His new team are affiliated to Eisbaren Berlin of the DEL who are part of the same ownership group of Ontario reign & the LA kings. He is within an organisational structure now that could see a development to jobs in the elite level of the sport in the long term. Also as Corey seems to have a preference on developing players I’m not surprised to seen him at a ‘lower’ level team following leaving us as it gives him a chance to build something up there.
