Poor show, you can't mention Carlo Colaiacovo without including the greatest hockey gif of all time:

Could be back as player assistant coach.. To build on this. Lepine played in Wichita last year. Which is in Kansas. I think you could be right with this one.

You’ve got to say, the way we announce signings now is the best it’s ever been. It has been brilliant, keeps everyone on tender hooks , the Gifs on a Twitter are hilarious. I thought it might be Lepine, wasn’t he on the verge of coming back a couple of seasons ago but then got a better offer, if he dropped down a League last season then he could be looking to move back.... but is he still any good... only 45 mins to wait On the other hand it won’t be Lee Jinman.

Goodridge appears to be finding the build up exciting so I'd expect a very well known name, potentially a past fan favourite.

Good friends with Myers too. This is the first time I've seen him tweet about signing news for a long time so it has to be someone big to the Panthers.

Can’t wait for him to run somebody over at centre ice!😂 Welcome back Gui! We’re going to be an intimidating team next season.

It's soooooo tempting, but no. Is anyone warm ? Yes, loads were. It was pretty obvious actually given the official twitter posts. Gave too much away on this occasion imo.

So we have Lepine, Olsen, Hughes and Billingsley on defence.. with Doty as a forward.. This is one tough team.
Delighted to have Gui back, Uni Deal too!

I generally have a rule that players shouldnt go back to old clubs. They tend not to live up to expectations...
Having said that i'll make an exception for Gui. One my favorite players of recent years. Plays the game the way i like. Hes a know quanity and has picked up significant AHL experience since leaving.
This is Gagnons replacment for me. And i think thats an upgrade. Also has the bonus of offering great secondary toughness.
Love the look of our defence. Looks big and imposing and plenty of guys who will defend first. Just to add a right handed trasition guy and i think we look very good in that department. Let see how Garnett does with it.
Very happy again.

A hero and he can only be better than when he left! Without wanting to sound like Iggy, we'll have to see about that. He should have improved as a player, but he'll have uni to attend to this time around which doesn't always seem to help. Still, nice to have him back. Someone less lazy than me should find the YouTubes of those hits he landed in year 1.

I'm very happy with this signing. If he is the same as he was when he left then brilliant. He should have improved with his AHL experience so it is fair to expect better, but then we should also remember that the league has improved overall so it is important our expectations don't get ridiculous. I am liking the look of our D!

Import - Hughes Olsen - Lee Lepine - Billingsley
The defence is looking big and solid, if we can fill that final spot with a big body that can provide offence and run the power play then it will look superb.

Amazing what happens when you have a proper coach who doesn't neglect the back end of his team.!!
