Who is in nets for us and are we full strength? Galbraith and no or at least not often. Seriously if you can see they are scoring at 50% on powerplay why do we keep committing penalties? I understand that sometimes poo poo happens but a lot of the time it’s stupidity putting them on the powerplay. Doubled of course when you’re losing as not only giving them a chance but reducing our chances to get level. I still think 1 or 2 behind going into Sunday is doable. This current Panthers roster is one of the worst I’ve seen for taking penalties unfortunately.

Finished 4-3. I think most of us would have taken that before the start. Fighting chance on Sunday now.

I can see Panthers coming away from Belfast no worse than 1 goal down here ... Pidgey is right again 😆😉

After being 3-0 down I’m pleased with that result, we’re more than still in the tie, we’ve got to get behind the team on Sunday and get it done!

Great result in the end, at 3-0 down I was fearing a total wipeout. glad we got back in to it. Should be a good game come Sunday.

I thought that we would lose this game but we are in range.
Seems rather similar to the last game we had against The Giants.
This could have been a worse result

Decent result from 0-3, still take a decent effort on Sunday. They've proven they can win at the NIC, and comfortably, but could've been much worse.

10 minutes in and 3 down .. What were the majority thinking lol Probably that there are 110 minutes left and we're a team noted for comebacks in knockout ties.

Amazing to get away with that just one goal down but got to stop with the penalties. Panthers were a different side after the first thank goodness.

I didn’t think Giants were that good 5 on 5 tonight. We made some silly mistakes to gift them a lead. I’m not saying they didn’t deserve it but we made them look better than they were.
I fancy us at home to win this now. But we’ve got to play smarter

Big chance on Sunday to claw something back. Would have taken a two goal deficit, but one goal is great news. Fancy us to do it in the return leg.

Strange game tonight, you guys gave them their lead, and Panthers were certainly second best tonight, and yet they came away with just a one goal deficit. Panthers need to raise their game Sunday, that’s for sure. You guys got out of jail tonight, Galbraith was immense, hope you sort it Sunday and knock the Giants out.

I wonder if that was Belfast's big chance?
Are they happy with the result?

Sums up out season, awful mixed with moments of brilliance and another 1 goal game.
As this team can't kill anyone off (apart from the fans patience) I predict this going to overtime on Sunday

After a truly disastrous first period we got a break at the end of the period and for the rest of the game we more than matched Belfast. The 1 goal deficit I think is just about right and would have snapped anybody’s hand off before the game if that was offered to me.
Speaking to quite a few Giants fans after the game and they generally feel it’s ours to lose. If we win at home the worst we’ll get is OT. Don’t think we can ask for too much more from an away first leg from this side.
I get so frustrated with the stupid penalties we take. We have to stay disciplined.
Also on a side note heard a few Giants fans convinced that Galbraith will be announced as our next coach. Don’t believe them for a second.
