Wishful thinking dude. The amount of people stood applauding at the end last night rendered me completely speechless. That was happy clapping on a whole new level. Makes you wonder what the players must think doesn’t it. They know they’ve played absolutely crap, but 1500 still stand there clapping like performing sea lions. 🙄 I was annoyed and frustrated at the performance, I wasn’t booing or shouting. Then I looked around me in block 14 and then around the arena. It looked like a standing ovation. Nothing will change as long as Panthers org gets bums on seats and the players get applauded off no matter what. I remember a game v Sheffield where we were 4-0 up and their players skated on to silence and disdain/contempt from their own fans. Yes their fans get behind them when they see effort and acceptable performances but they let them know when it’s not good enough. If you’d walked in off the street at the end of the game last night, you’d have been forgiven for thinking we’d won 5-1. Remarkable. Not in a good way. At least Spurs won though.

Dan Green sent out on the OS to provide official club reaction to last night. The same Dan Green that deals with Housing & 'Related Issues'. Which Moron asked him for his views?

How about we get a proper interview with Mr Black and here his thoughts on the Panthers debacle of a season. Wonder if Piers Morgan might be free to do it?

I have to say i was proper peeved, having rushed to get there to find that they were already 1-0 down was annoying but when i saw how they were actually playing that said it all!...No idea, no effort, no fore-checks, no spark...NOTHING and that is why there is no atmosphere!!..The icing on the cake for me was when Galbratih let the 4th goal in, yes not totally his fault but at least watch the game because by the time the puck bounced in front of him, it was too late!!...If it hadn't annoyed me so much, i may have seen the funny side .. Well, we didn't stay to clap them off or anything, to be honest, after 40 minutes we'd had enough of watching that rubbish and decided i had better things to do like go to SLEEP!!...

Mr Black has had another extremely good season. Tottenham 5th in the league and in with a shout of European soccer and the Panthers still turning a nice profit, despite the ever-reliable December slump, what's not to like (for him)? I bet he has to pinch himself every morning to believe thousands of mugs in Nottingham are willing to keep throwing money into his pockets, with only occasional also-ran trophies and a few hollow statements to keep them happy.

Wonder when that 2nd Q&A is going to happen??? Think someone is laying low at the moment, I give Iggy some credit at least he turned up and asked the questions he said he would, quite funny watching NB trying to back out.

It does feel though that the club at that stage didn't really care as you had already parted with your hard earned...

This organisation gave up on the season as soon as we lost to Zurich. To hear about us trying to sign a player to replace Brisebois this week having never signed the second import that was promised weeks ago is rubbing our noses in it. I know many people who are lifelong fans who have stopped going and at some point Black will regret this folly when the transient fans go to another form of entertainment. Other teams fans I know regard us as a joke team which hurts. As I said weeks ago I'm done for this season.

And he can recruit very well too,his Cardiff teams were built when they were getting crowds of only 1000 -1500 fans, yet they always competed very well for every trophy. When you look at some of the players he recruited to play in that horrible little tent in Cardiff with only a low/medium budget, just what could he do given all the advantages he would have in Nottingham.
