"We're 6th and out of the title race very early, again.... " What has that got to do with my point about the comment referring to Pither! - We all know that where Panthers are isn't good enough. Ignore him, he's banned

Yeh but what's signing Pither got to do with having the knives out for CN ? Knives are out before his signing, are you saying they should be put away on the basis that this might save our season ?.... Save it by winning a cup or the playoffs. Is that the saving those with the knives out are looking for ?.... I'd say no. And let's be frank a little sarcastic comment that CN might well on past history play the new guy out of position is rather accurate. I don't have a problem with CN, as I reckon he's doing exactly what's been asked of him by his employer... It's him i have issue with. If we get a new coach i don't reckon he can be a good a balancing act as CN's been.

Its the negativity before he has got on the ice. IE CN is just as likely or words to that effect. Its bad enough where we are without spending more gloom. Yes CN has done things we would not like, but wait and see.

It's called 'gallows humour'......
Its got nothing to do with the player, we could have signed Crosby and the same reasoning stands, CN would just as likely play him in defense.

My prediction...
Pither will be good, score a few points in the opening few weeks. Then get used to Corey’s systems, fall away on production, probably pick up an injury and spend the rest of the time bouncing around lines... more likely to feature with Lee, Lacho & Ollie than with Brown, Billingsley & Gagnon.

I'd hope he does spend a lot of time on the ice with Lee, one half of our top defensive pair. And Lacho curently leads the entire team in +/-.
