Just came across a tweet from Dallman from 2013 (expletive deleted but you can guess): "Smoked about 30 darts last night at work during the Leafs game .. ****, they need me out there". Anyone got his phone number?

Ah so now I know the type of players you like Pidge..... Players that I call ghosts, and of this type he is my favourite. I'd say they don't make them like him any more, you do see them, they just don't come to these shores...

I thought this was about signing Luke Pither. The fanbase has been crying out for a new signing for months and when it happens everyone is just chatting about players from yesteryear.

Well as no one has seen him play it's hard to discuss him in detail other than 'Welcome to Nottingham etc'
So we mention players we have seen and enjoyed watching

It’s worth pointing out he had the second highest point per game ratio for Brampton last season, plus it was much higher than Ling’s, which is a positive in my eyes

Bloody hell 😳😳😳😳...... He’s 54 ! In almost 30 years watching the Panthers, Dallman was my favourite! He smoked like a chimney but not did he know where the net was! Mark Kolesar was my 2nd favourite while we are on the subject.. then the rest Dallman & Kolesar were great for Panthers.

Think a wait and see signing for me

I'd still have him. They don't make 'em like him anymore... (As some have already said.) Pither looks the goods, he has the tools to make other players better. Good luck to him.

Pre the internet and hockeydb.com, I remember Kolesar being the first import Panthers had ever signed who I'd properly "heard of" before. I even had a couple of his hockey cards before he was signed.

Looks like a good signing. Whilst the pressure is on him I hope he can handle it. Here’s hoping Coach Corey doesn’t coach the skill out of him.

Really hoping he can win some face-offs. Not sure if the stats hold up but we've certainly seemed to struggle ever since Matthew Myers left.

Note to Mr Neilson.....Pither is a CENTRE so play him there, not as a winger.
Note to Luke.....if Mr Neilson asks you to play as a winger, tell him to get stuffed !

yeh.... A note to ALL current Panthers players.... Play to your strengths, impress the crowd and feel their love and appreciation...
Nielson even if he don't like it won't sack ya for it, surely by now you know that.

However before Piither has touched a puck the knives are out for CN. Give it a rest and comment when there is something concrete to complain about.

Let’s just look forward to this weekend and have a bit of optimism, we’ve got a new forward in, we’ve just come off two big wins and we’ve got another big weekend coming up.
Let’s forget about the politics and enjoy watching some hockey!

" What has that got to do with my point about the comment referring to Pither! - We all know that where Panthers are isn't good enough.
