They don't care about you, me or the rubbish form and terrible league challenge. As the website says only 1,500 left in the bowl... Less than that now; around 700 or so. Despite our recent downturn in fortunes, I’m still tempted to go...

Well, the Lacho interview basically acknowledges that the Devils are way ahead of us, implying that a win against them would be a massive result. So what was Neilson laser focused on exactly, second place? What league were they laser focused on? Either:- Attendances/bums on seats Bank balance/profit The only league(s) that count to NB/GM.

Time we had another Q+A. Think there’s more than a few questions Mr Black needs to answer. I keep reading Neilson is Panthers most successful coach. Yeah, but that’s because somehow he’s been here about 5 times longer than anybody else.
Just looked at our league, cup and play off record the last 4 years and my god it’s bloody poor. No league challenge at all and not even made play off weekend for 3 in the last 4 seasons !
Time he was sacked, long overdue !!!!

Agree. Neison may be the best coach we’ve ever had, but HAD is the operative word. No sports team can survive on past glories. Definitely time to go.

Black's Q & A sessions are about as much use as a chocolate fire guard. He dictates everything about it. He deliberately chooses the start time about an hour before puck drop on a midweek game night. That way he knows we have a smaller crowd to start with and he can say at 7pm right got to go. If he didn’t dictate what questions he gets asked before he does now. By banning Rob for speaking out and asking questions he found unfavourable he’s silenced the majority of the fan base. Even if a disillusioned fan who has stopped going to games so has nothing to lose asked him the questions that need asking he wouldn’t answer honestly. As my late father-in-law would have said if he can’t baffle them with science he’ll blind them with bs.

For a start I don't think you should even be mentioning the continental cup, because not every other EIHL team plays in it. And by our own coaching teams admission the Conti cup was "way easier to win than the challenge cup" last year, there were no other good teams in it.
We've won the challenge cup once in four years and been dumped the other years.
We've won the play offs once in four years and not even made finals weekend in three of the last four years.
And as for the league. Well we all know that we might as well not even enter that race.
Our record is poor, very poor indeed. And when you to take into account all of the things which "should" be in Panthers favour over other clubs......it's bloody shocking !!!!

And the year before Sheffield and Belfast didn’t make it. What’s your point? In a 2 game series you will obviously get a mixed bag at the end.

In a 2 game series you will obviously get a mixed bag at the end. The reason we missed the final four last season was 100% down to Wiikman's injury in the second leg, which you can either way was a) desperately unlucky or b) an appalling coaching decision to have a backup import netminder but not dress him when defending a three goal lead, I personally lead towards the latter of the two. But I agree that in a two-legged game it can come down to the finest of margins.

I put the CC in brackets for that reason, however you stated we've been poo poo the last 4 seasons. 2 seasons ago we had another cup double. No, our league performances have not been good enough, but look at our trophy haul compared to every other team, last 4 seasons alone we have 3, 1 behind Sheffield.

In a 2 game series you will obviously get a mixed bag at the end. My point is. Perform in the league and you get a good seeding and you most probably make play off weekend. But bugger about like we do,finish 5th and you get a nasty quarter final with Steelers or somebody. Although this year the seedlings will be all over the place. Maybe we have a cunning plan ! 🙄
