Considering what has happened in Las Vegas recently, this is worse than just banter

Perhaps they should be more concerned about this! Jamie Black @jamieblackeihl Steelers player "gun shooting" action at the crowd is totally unacceptable and beyond abhorrent. @officialeihl should be fast & strong here But perhaps Tony Smith will think otherwise. It's become a big debate on twitter. For me having seen a clip it's all way O T T. Sheffield player used his stick pretending it was a gun to shoot some people in the crowd. May have been Lindhagens friends as it has been mentioned it was a group of Swedes giving the Swedish Steelers player a load of stick. He did this at the end of the game in what was somewhat a joke. Some have their knickers in a twist and want the book throwing at him. Others, like myself think it really is silly to get upset over.

Sheffield requesting a review on Mosey is ridiculous, we should be challenging the one on Spang, by Nelson?, as they were identical, absolutely pathetic from them

Why don't we request reviews? Cost, would the money reduce NB & GM's dividend at the end of the year? Because we are too nice and think that it wasn't deliberate and that injuries do occur in the sport? Or the club doesn't care?

In this case because the incident didn’t warrant a review, I’d be amazed if anything comes of the Mosey one. Both were 2 for boarding at worst. In other cases we haven’t reviewed because getting a player banned could benefit our rivals

Sheffields review is pathetic. Looking forward to it being thrown away but I wouldn't put anything past the EIHL.
If there are bans for that then I'm going to stop watching hockey.
In regards to the "Shooting incident" this is also another non-starter. If anybody in that arena was offended by that then they are going to struggle with the modern world. I hate the Steelers but any other team except us and them do that it doesn't get mentioned anywhere. Some just choosing to make a mountain out of an molehill(more of an ant hill) just because it's Sheffield.
It wasn't caught on camera last season but McGrattan 100% gave the W gesture to Sheffield and Coventry fans last season and that's only two incidents I saw with my own eyes. It happens. To those offended then let's just call it even.

As the Steelers and Jody Lehman have said in the past, the 'Agincourt Salute' doesn't mean the same thing to NA players. They're simply pointing out they've done something twice.

My point exactly, I don't particularly care that he did it in the same way I don't care the Steelers player did what he did. Sometimes fans are just too precious about things. We took two points and Sheffield didn't. I'm happy enough with that even if a Sheffield player flipped me the bird.

Im guessing the W gesture is not the same as the Agincourt Salute?

Mosey upgraded to a 5 plus game which will go on his record.

Im guessing the W gesture is not the same as the Agincourt Salute? At the time Steelers fans were bleating about McGrattan "putting his fingers up" at them. If it was the self-pleasure sign, once again, perhaps there has been some confusion. Maybe McGrattan uses one of these fine products?

Mosey upgraded to a 5 plus game which will go on his record. Stops Steelers losing their request fee and undermines the officials, perhaps causing them to second guess decisions when officiating Steelers in the future. Win/win for the EIHL Chairman.

Mosey upgraded to a 5 plus game which will go on his record. That Mosey incident didn't even warrant a 5 plus game. Yet a couple of weeks ago Fitzgerald got away with a forearm smash to the jaw in Coventry ! #Dopsfarcetimeagain 🙄

Nothing on the EIHL site yet, but... If that was a 5+G I'm a dutchman. You'd have been disappointed if that was called on the night, for sure.
