Just been tweeted that due to a transport issue this will be rescheduled.Presumably for next week before Turku. Which will probably bugger most folk up, that game starts half an hour earlier than tonight. Which means the Q&A session will too most likely

Oh god i can see where this thread is going. It's alright, Iggy doesn't do Twitter (despite hashtagging everything that moves), so he won't know about this. He's already in Saltbox, revving up.

Panthers fans, if you're already in town early come and have a chat with the interim board of the Nottingham Ice Hockey Supporters Trust.
We'd be more than happy to answer any questions and listen to ideas. Happy to talk to anyone whatever their views on the Supporters Trust.

Transport issues my backside 🙄 Black can't be bothered with a trivial league game with Belfast, because he's just realised there is a CHL game next Tuesday which is far more important and in his busy business schedule he couldn't possibly attend TWO games on the trot ! Panthers must think the fans are bloody thick !!! 😐 #poorshow

Maybe not the start to the season he expected. Didn't fancy any tough questions so cried off.

Despite my natural cynicism... this might actually have some basis in truth (or, at the very least, someone's been more-than-usually smart with their excuses this time). Traffic was appalling last night... it took me over an hour to get from the M1 (J26) to the arena... usually takes me 20 minutes.

A lorry spilt it's load on the M1 North yesterday afternoon/early evening in Northamptonshire.

Some fans are so paranoid/conspiracy theorists, Christ!
Not like it would have been the first time anyone has been delayed by transport and traffic.

And some fans are far to ready to swallow anything the club says, or make inumerable excuses for them.

I'm not one to be paranoid or wear a tin foil hat so if the club say Black had transport issues, getting to a evening midweek game.. Then I'm happy to accept that. Like most with a concept of how the world works.

Some fans are so paranoid/conspiracy theorists, Christ! Not like it would have been the first time anyone has been delayed by transport and traffic. The thing is though, you reap what you sow. If the club didn't feed the fans a whole load of spin, crap, half truths and downright lies for 365 days of the year.... When something like this happens we might be rather more inclined to believe them !

Surely it is just as ridiculous to assume that they are always lying as it would be to assume that they are always telling the truth? As the old saying goes... even a stopped clock is right twice a day!

Agree, sometimes the panthers will lie to us and other times they will tell the truth. To assume they are are either always telling us lies or truths is paranoid or naive. It's been delayed not cancelled

Tonight the Trust got shot down and shown up for what it really is. Well to be honest it isn’t anything and never will be!
