I spoke to a member of staff in Ice Locker recently and they said that the team was trying to hammer down the jersey sponsors, which is why they were being delayed. the design stays the same though irrelevant to what the sponsors are, surely the design could have been released without sponsors on? I have no idea, it's just what the guy in Ice Locker told me.

I agree the designs should have been revealed on day 1 of training camp, but have the club been waiting on warrior to produce the jersey designs or have they just been holding the designs back to have these events? Surely it doesn't take this long to produce designs, also the fact that a named jersey takes so long to be with you could deter people from buying one. If the club has been holding the designs back solely for these events they've played it wrong, what they could have done is release the designs three weeks before the planned events then the people who go to the events are still the first to get the jerseys and the people who order named ones will receive theirs a week later for the beginning of the season. That makes the most sense and wouldn't put anyone off buying, but it depends on whether warrior have provided the designs already. I spoke to a member of staff in Ice Locker recently and they said that the team was trying to hammer down the jersey sponsors, which is why they were being delayed. That rings true, seeing as RHPS are usually a jersey sponsor but were only announced as having renewed their deal about ten days ago !

Sorry, don't know how to do the link to twitter but there are various pictures posted on the clubs account. Black is best IMO. Yellow meh and white awful.
Seems everyone on twitter completely disagrees with me however!

I don't like any of the them and I tend to buy one every season, I might go with a CHL one instead

Black is best IMO. Yellow meh and white awful. I tend to agree, although "meh" might be a bit too positive for those swoops on the hem of the yellow. This is always the fear with dye-sub, just because you can... Black seems alright, could do with some good pictures on the website for a proper judgement though. Edit - Having seen the 2nd tweet, the bits on the sides and the cuffs... I think my £70 (or whatever it costs) is safe for another year.

I like the black jersey, but the other two, especially the white one, not so much; as Yotes mentioned, my money is staying put for another season.

I know everyone has their own preference, but I wish everyone would only buy the "Gold" ones, for no other reason than it makes the arena crowd look so much better, so much more united, rather than looking like a mish mash of random colours with no identity. Just think how fantastic the dutch football fans look as a total sea of orange shirts - wow, stunning to see. I know it won't happen, but hay ho.

I like the white one best, but overall I'm not too fussed.
If, come the end of the season I haven't won or bought a Game Worn then I'll probably look to get one from IceLocker when they're like £30 but right now, for £75 I'm not too fussed. Same with the CHL, I like them but the Game Worns will be sold for 160 Euros, so pretty much 80 euros more than a replica, so I'll look to get one of those come the time when the CHL sell them.
I've seen people really moan about the jerseys not having either Nottingham or Panthers on them, in an ideal world it would be nice to have it on the jersey but I'm not overly fussed. But the way people moan about it, you'd think it has some kind of influence on the team and that we are crap for not having Nottingham on our jersey. Each to their own I guess. I know most NHL clubs whom have the city name on their jersey, the fans feel it's not required.

For the last few years the gold ones have been really dull and awful. Almost looks like they've been washed in a machine with the black ones. Bring back the brighter shade

Why the hell not open a competition to fans to make one up. Apart from the fact that its a closed shop I guess someone might come up with a dandy style. All three should have the same design.
And The town we represent should be highlighted but because we'd like to see it, it won't see the light of day.

I do still stand by, and my dad has preached this since I started going as a kid, we should wear black as much as possible. If nothing more than for the impression it gives. You face a team of 6 foot summat blokes dressed head to toe in black looks a lot more intimidating than some custard coloured tops!

If you want to go down that route then red is the colour - most often used in war as the colour of blood. It was a bit of a risk when they did a red jersey a few years ago but I always liked that jersey (by the amount people who bought it, I think it was well received too). As for this years jerseys, nope not for me thanks. All very plain and offer no incentive to buy one.

It probably helped rather a lot that the red shirts coincided with a rather good team ! 😉 Black for me though,I agree with the thought that black looks intimidating.

Away colour writes itself of course... pink (can imagine that thread already).

As daft as it sounds, doing those shirts for breast cancer research wouldn't be a bad shout! They could skate onto the ice to the pink panther theme! A whole night of fun!

I've been saying the same for years... it's a bit of a no-brainer, really! As for these new jerseys... I actually quite like the designs, just not the material. I'm not paying that kind of money for a thin, printed cheap-feeling jersey...

I imagine the royalty or merchandise licensing fee for the Pink Panther would be rather expensive.

Thing that ruins it for me is the sponsors all over them, makes them look cheap. Compare it to a clean crisp NHL jersey and you just don't get the same impact. Design is alright for all 3 but I always think that the shirts will look better over pads and the whole team in them not just a player without pads and jeans on. At least we've stuck to our colours this year.
