(Slight thread merge here if you're wondering.)
Best of luck to Moran for his future.

Wish him the best for the future.
Didn't have the best of final seasons despite leading us in Europe. Glad we had him but he needed another guy with experience and proven quality near him, without that guy he simply wasn't that impressive. Age caught up quick this season and the off ice distractions did also.

Solid player on an average team last year. Found him missing as captain in this years poor team.
Flashes of brilliance but given his CV I hoped for a lot more from him.
Comes across as a nice bloke though and wish him well for the future.

All the best Brad, ever the professional it's a shame that the rest of the team couldn't be and that we didn't win more for you in your last season. You will forever be remembered for lifting the continental cup though, an amazing achievement.

Had a great first year but totally ineffective in his second year as captain. Perhaps a year too far.

The title of this thread needs changing... unfair level of teasing!

Can you imagine the feelings of joy and relief at some point in the future. Ooooh yes, when that day comes. I'm going to get a big banner made for the first game after its announced and it's going to use that corny phrase he uses,"If ifs and buts were beer and nuts we're going to have one hell of a party". # Sell out 😄😄😄

We all know that GM isn't going to leave until he pops his clogs at the desk, I'm sure he'll leave some other insufferable oath in charge too.

Such a shame this thread had to be twisted up.
Lack of class evident.

Such a shame this thread had to be twisted up. Lack of class evident. How precious. I bet Brad Moran is gutted how this thread has gone. It's also a shame Brad decided to down tools for most of the last 9 months.

People can say what they want really (as long as it remains tasteful), surely thats the whole point of a forum/debate... I think so far most people are of the same opinion - A great first year, and a consistent pro, but when we really needed a Captain (like this year) he came up a little short.

Ranging from a long way short to completely anonymous most of the year.
