Agree with this, I'd drop the limit tomorrow aswell if into was up to me. Disagree on O'Connor though, I think he's an overrated show pony. To me Farmer is the premier Brit in the EIHL. I like Farmer and was unhappy when he left Steelers but, when he's on song, and I know Panther's fans don't like him, Dowd is as good as most imports in this league. Also, if you remember, you all hated Farmer until he joined you. Dowd isn't the same player he was before leaving for his season in Sweden, right now the only thing I think Dowd has over Farmer is skating ability.

Dowd has better hands, wrister and foot speed over a short distance. Farmer is better once he's got the speed up, harder to knock off the puck, and will fight anybody. Dowd picks his battles. like Lacho, he doesn't stand out as much as he did earlier on in his career, probably because (like Lacho) he's thought of as an 'import standard' Brit, so more is expected of him.

Completely disagree about Dowd having bettr hands. I think part of Dowds problem is that he's coasting since he came back from Sweden, since he did OK out there I think he's lost that chip on his shoulder that Farmer has due to him not succeeding when he went to play for Alaska.
