So they have announced that they go on sale February 1st, however I have received an email saying that they go on sale for Panther fans on January 16th
What I have found interesting is that there was no mention of it being for Season Ticket holders only
I'd this true?

Looking at twitter it sounds like there's a ST window before the early bird general sale.

Surely got to be an early season ticket window. It will just be Callum who's cocked up the Panthers media again.
Nice that they go on sale when some of the Panthers keenies are away in Italy, very helpful and thoughtful that....Not ! 😐

I got in touch with the Panthers organisation on this very point, a large group of fans will still be in Italy when these tickets go on sale. Reply; Unfortunately ticket sales for the POW are out of our control, this is due to it being a EIHL event. Are we to believe that the Panthers organisation have no say on this matter, are we not part of the EIHL, surely this problem should have been flagged up, it was obvious that certain fans would not be here, perhaps the 18th would have been a more sensible date, who makes these decisions ?

It's the EIHL's event. They will be paying for the ice time and organisation so lay off Panthers, Jesus Christ.
The Elite League sets the dates, the times and organises the accommodation allocation for teams. As it's in Nottingham they will allow our ST holders early priority on tickets, mainly to reduce waiting times when the tickets go on General Sale and people from Coventry, Sheffield and Manchester will be coming down to the arena to book tickets.
The whole 'But people are in Italy' thing doesn't matter. Tickets for Panthers won't sell out until a while after General Sale so people have like 2 months. There will only be a couple hundred actually going to Italy too. I'm not saying that as it is, it isn't unfair on those in Italy but get over it, most will be back on the Monday or Tuesday so is it a big deal? No.

I think for once the panthers are blameless in this instance. They don't make the decisions on ticket sales by the EIHL.
For the ST holders in Italy I can imagine the annoyance but let's hope there are good seats left on your return!

But these sort of decisions are made at EIHL board meetings, which Panthers attend......If Panthers are not at least part of "the EIHL" who the heck is ? A little thought and they could/should have delayed sales by a day or two.

Calum has tweeted asking any season tickets holders going to Ritten and who this may affect, to email him. He's not promising anything yet but he's looking into it. At least it's something

It may be a problem for those that collect for others as there is a note on Twitter saying only 6 tickets per person.

Anyone would think we live in the stone age. Get somebody to ring up for you. Ring from Italy(I know its not cheap but it aint expensive these days either).
I can only see an issue for those that camp out at stupid o'clock who might also be in Italy. Even then it's only that they wont get their perfect seat.

Another cockerel up. Yes. I'm saying this because it comes after people have commited themselves to the club. I bet they would not have wanted supporters to stay away of the Italian trip in favour of staying home in a queue. As has been said these things don't just happen without knowledge....If they do, hence a reason for the club to speak up in support of the great supporters we have following the team. Then some people may ask why we need a trust organisation to speak on behalf of fans. Here is one example.

As long as you have valid season tickets with you, you can have as many seats as you have season tickets. The 6 per person rule only applies from February 1st

But at least if you have a season ticket then you are more or less guaranteed to be at the weekend. Those of us with no season ticket have to hope there's something left

I've never had a ST but always managed to get good seats for the past 5 years, good seats as in middle of a block.
There's little need to panic really, there'll be seats on the Tuesday after Pre-Sale, there will still be seats at the end of February.

The 6 per person rule only applies from February 1st Great until your behind that person in that queue. every single year this comes up! would you rather be behind 1 highly organised person buying 40 seats with all the money and tickets ready or 40 people in the queue? either way you're waiting the same amount of time.

If the elite league have announced 1st feb as release date then who has decided on Monday for season ticket holders? Is this just Panthers season ticket holders or all clubs season ticket holders? I'm sure there are all the other clubs season ticket holders who would like first dibs as well, if it's only us then why not make it a week on Monday? 5 days notice to find even more money is a tad on the short side really.
Actually I've just seen a post on Steeltalk and someone has asked Tony Smith if the 16th is open to all clubs season ticket holders and he has said no, they took that privilege away from Sheffiekd this year aswell to make it fair to the other clubs , so only Panthers fans get first dibs. Doesn't sound very fair to me to be honest , no wonder everyone thinks it's rigged.

A little thought and they could/should have delayed sales by a day or two. They attend yes but at no point would this mean that the EIHL would do anything about it. The league know we'll sell our allocation regardless of a couple hundred fans missing out, so regardless of our input they aren't obligated to do anything.

Can't quite work out whether this is an NIC decision for Monday or the Elite league but being as we're the only club allowed to purchase from Monday i would say it was the arena with the backing of the League. Anyway surely it wouldn't have hurt anyone to have delayed this until a week on Monday when everyone was back? its not rocket science they've known we were in the final since October.

Probably should have delayed it until Tuesday, but they haven't.
I don't get what the fuss is about, a call to the arena from Italy on Monday morning would not cost any more than having to drive then park at the arena. In fact it may cost less!
The statement from the club offering to try and help simply smacks of a few vocal fans trying to make sure they get their choice of seats by playing the victim card to get their seats early.
Most fans know when pofw tickets go on sale they should have planned accordingly.

You have to go to the arena to show your season ticket don't you ?
