Top two? Thanks, I didn't know that... makes it a lot more possible. Hosting the final would be awesome... and I think we could absolutely guarantee a sold-out arena. Yes - at the World Famous NIC Arena Cups hand behind ear and says....'say that again'?

Apparently 3 hattricks in the final game, can't happen too often. Shame for Jaca to get blanked at their own event but fair play to Istanbul for finishing above their ranking.

I'd expect Donbass to be the tougher of the 3 games, Eastern European teams always tend to be the challenging ones. Odense and Angers should be good games though, both pretty good but I'd expect us to take them fairly comfortably, discipline allowing.
If we have Schultz & Lawrence fully fit for it too, that'll be huge. No import limits so we can play them all if we want.
Then come January if we're in the Final we may even get a certain #9 playing with us, though I'd say it's 65/35 in favour of not happening.

“We should have won this game. We were better, faster, more skilled but didn’t manage to score. We conceded goals due to individual mistakes,” Liepaja’s GM Toms Strauss said. Don't sit on the fence then!! 'Better' ? - better at what, scoring more than the opposition ?. Faster ? - possibly, but speed counts for nothing if you don't use it correctly. More skilled ? possibly, but fancy stickwork doesn't get you goals if you aren't in a position to take advantage of it.

Crikey, I hope not. That'll be just what we need in the final, a bloke who's retired and hasn't played competitively for virtually a whole season. May as well bring back Marty Dallman. Come to think of it, I'd go if Panthers did that...

I would agree with you about Donbass being the toughest,i think they have won this cup before. We most certainly won't take a win against Odense comfortably though, they have got some quality import forwards. Angers yes we should probably beat them. I reckon we will finish third in the group. If we do get to the final though and we have applied to host it,then looking at some of the other grim sounding places,I would think we must have a fair chance of hosting it.

Dombass will start as favourites but I ain't worried about the Bulldogs and the French.
Odense imports are no better than our. It's their own Danes which could be the difference who are pretty dam good.
Players who stand out for angers is mainly former Steeler Maxime Lacroix
Quite confident we ll finish in the top 2 and move on

Wish we had a guy who's scored 15 goals in 11 games this season !

Danish teams ain't much higher in standard than eihl teams these days. Fact. They wouldn't fair that well in the CHL .

Odense seem to have used a French bulldog for their logo, this is clearly an act of war. Not sure about the jaunty cap/scarf combo either...

Disapointed in that mermaid statue though, so small.lol Wish I could make this trip again.

6 games for that seems good value.

Only £7 or £6 per game depending on your sit/stand preference. In Nottingham they would slap at least £60 on a 6 game pass.

In 2013 Panthers' Adult Weekend Tickets were priced as;
Gold - £50 Silver - £46 Bronze - £43
Remember that it's based off of using the Arena for 3 consecutive days whereas Odense have a small rink purely for hockey, meaning little competition in terms of booking the ice, therefore making it cheaper.
