Not who you think is on who's line but why does Corey juggle so much? Does anyone think it's actually an effective tactic.
I know some will bash but try and discuss. It's hard not too on this subject and I myself am quite fiercely against it but I'd like to see peoples thoughts after a deep breath.

It does really bug me when Corey changes lines every odd shift but can understand if he did it after every few games if it's not working out etc. or even if he changed the lines in the intermissions. I can kind of see why Corey does is it in a way (to keep the opponent guessing and make it harder to get a matchup or shutdown line on against the top line etc.) but he does it that often it isn't very effective at all because it kills any kind of chemistry the players can build on and they don't get used to who they're playing beside on their line.

I do remember John Tortarella having a similar ethic at the Rangers. It sometimes worked admitidely but only because the calibre of players he had could play that way and had played together for years.

There's no harm in tinkering to an extent but you have to realise when you're on to a good thing with a line & let them gel further. Corey doesn't do this enough imo.

Corey won the league with the chemistry of Ling, Graham & Benedict. The rest of that team was great but that line guaranteed goals.
Since 2013, I can't remember a single line that stuck together for over 10 games. Since 2013 we've come nowhere near winning the league again.

Corey changes lines for several reasons. 1. Injuries yes,can see that.....but he changes every line to cover one injured guy, madness. 2. Because he's pig headed stubborn and wants to prove his way is the right way, last year he wouldn't even listen to his own players telling him the lines were wrong. 3. Because he signs players and tries to play them out of position, then realises it's not working,if you want a centre then sign a bloody centre, not a left winger then try to convert him into something he can't do. 4. Because we start short every season, play ten games, then other guys come in and he has to switch lines, madness again ! 5. Then he switches to accommodate who we are playing, wrong ploy, let them worry about us.

All of the above is why I would have like a new coach, Panther's had about 6 good games at the end of the season, the rest of the season was mostly rubbish, even when they won I thought we had a bit of luck that got them through the game.
Ps Panther's finished 5 because they played like a 5th placed team
