For those that are interested, looks like Ian Moran has got tired of playing in the AHL and has signed for Berlin Polar Bears (Eisbaren Berlin) in the DEL. I suspect he'd be asking too much money to play here again.....

He might be a class defender to play in the nhl but i never really liked him when he was here.

Moran was a solid defensive player for the Panthers, nothing flashy but few notable deficiencies either. Just what Berlin need if the defensive performance I saw from them last night is to be believed. They lost 3-4 in OT to 12th placed Straubing Tigers.

Hardly ever noticed because he hardly ever put a foot wrong. Plus the potential entertainment value of having a goal announced as 'scored by Moran, assisted by Moran' cannot be underestimated... (would be even funnier if it was against Manchester - the look of jealousy on Tony Hand's face would be priceless! ;D)
