According to the one and very thankfully, only.. David Simms, the League Campaign is set to start a week later than previous season's, and therefor finishing a week later too. Whether this is just for Steelers due to their participation in the CHL or the entire league, that isn't perfectly clear but the league finishing a week later would mean it finishes 25th-26th March 2017, the dates you'de expect the Playoffs QF's to be taking place, and the Finals Weekend the weekend after (1st-2nd April 2017), which i'm assuming means this will be a league wide effect. "The Elite league season will start a week later this coming year and conclude a week later as well - the first important date, however, in Steeler fans’ diaries should be the end of this month as that will be the first cut-off date for cheaper price season tickets." Are Steelers trying their best to ensure their league campaign is uneffected by the CHL by making all teams begin a week later? Or is it just a random decision? Seems a bit too coincidental to me.

Have POFW17 dates been announced yet? If not I'd imagine they'll be pushed back then My main concern would be for the world championships

This is my main issue with the club chairman being a team owner. Information that is relevant league wide gets released early by the Steelers muppet spokesperson and is directed only to the Sheffield fans. Its not the first time this has happened, the first place this should appear is on the EIHL site or released by all clubs at a specific designated time.

To be fair we're not releasing the news, I read this at least 2 weeks ago on Twitter. Which, as far as I'm aware is public domain.
