My picture came up with a msg saying 'this feed is switching off 'soon', you need to start again. I did, and guess what, I missed the GWG.The coverage/commentary was poor, but then again the BBC didn't have to show it, so I'm grateful they did. and the coverage didn't affect the result. And fortunately (or unfortunately) 95% of the sport viewing public was either watching Man U on Sky, or Andy Murray on the BBC / Eurosport. I'm more surprised that Radio Nottingham didn't do a commentary, given that they offer live coverage of every Notts County game, and Panthers must average a higher home gate than County. Nope, 5179. And given the popularity of football that will give County edge.

so why did the BBC stream the game ? do they have a quota to fill, Did they get a request from one or both of the clubs, or the league. Why, after not showing ANY Ice Hockey at all over the past few years, basically since the PO finished at Wembley (London) did they decide to randomly show this game. Were they hoping for a mass brawl, then use it as an excuse for not showing IH in the future.

The BBC had to put little if any money into it. The only cost they would have had would have been adding the stream to their platforms. And the league probably paid that too. It was quite obvious the BBC had nothing to do with the game coverage what so ever!

I was at the game, I kept thinking to myself, what a game to stream! I linked this to a lot of my friends who are interested in seeing a hockey game, but haven't had time/money to come to a Panthers game yet. I loved the end result and it was actually a great game to watch despite the lack of goals. However....Penalty called on Lord and revoked, Continuous OT/Penalties and finally the error with the clock in OT. I'm not going to comment on whether calls were good/bad/missed but even to someone who knows very little about hockey, the above would have looked like we don't have a clue what we're doing. As a sport that can be quite confusing/hard to follow as a newbie, I regret linking my friends to the stream

Owen was good - liked his interviews at the end of the game. Enjoyed Seth too
Thommmo was hilarious, could hear how much he hated giving us praise.

Yeah same for me, completely missed the GWG because of it... I was far from impressed.

Is it possible to re watch the coverage? I can't seem to find it anywhere. Following the link to the game just says currently unavailable but I don't know if that's cause it's the 'live' link.

Is it possible to re watch the coverage? I saw someone say that it should be up on iplayer a couple of days afterwards, whether it's true or not I don't have a clue.
