As much as I would like to see us win, after all these games in quick succession, I can only foresee a comfortable Belfast win. I would love to be proven wrong however even if there was a squad rotation , tiredness will surely be a factor.

I think Divin' Darryl got chucked on a 5+G check to the head tonight, so presumably DOPS will be having a look before Friday.

Funny how different fans see different things, according to Belfast fans the Devils were beyond dirty & had the refs on their side...

Cardiff play Belfast again this season, so perhaps some Janssen style disciplinary is in order.

I've been called out by a couple of members of this forum for saying we were still in the league title race, the same members who said we wouldn't beat clan in the QF of the CC. To think I'm watching my first season of the Panthers and these members who said I must be smoking something to think we had a chance are apparently on their 15th, 20th season, etc, experienced and clearly depressive negative people!
Tonight will be a tough game, I don't believe the 6 - 2 loss away had any indication on what will happen tonight though, it could go either way though depending on if the Panthers turn up or not! A loss will not be the end of the title though, but we need to start winning our games in hand to put pressure on the Squeelers & Devils!

Well done, aren't you brilliant!! I will make sure I bow down to your knowledge from now on. What i will say is that these "experienced and clearly depressive negative people" that you talk about have seen it all before, and lets face it, whilst we are still in the hunt, if we don't win the league, the fact is that you can pinpoint exactly where it was lost, and that will fall on the times when these members pointed out our shortcomings, the Scottish Triple Header, The 3-0 home loss to Cardiff and the lack of replacements to key players. We've been in this position before titch, and we'll be in it again. Fact of the matter is that it doesn't make 2 blind bits of difference if at the end of March is says #3 Panthers. As has been said before by many, I'd rather have the points on the board than the games in hand.

People who have been watching 10-20 years may have seen the bad, the ugly and the truly awful so have every right to believe we had blown it. After 20 Years like some of the people on here, your views may be different. And whilst we're on it, am I the only one who hates it when we call them the squeelers?

And whilst we're on it, am I the only one who hates it when we call them the squeelers? No, I have to say that the Sheffield fans we sat with at Ice Sheffield were fantastic. You can't generalize an entire fan base on a handful of people who post on forums and social media.

You seem to think you're some kind of uber fan. We've all been where you are now at some point in the past. You seem to be conveniently forgetting that YOU recently said, and I quote, "League over, even I can admit that now, gutted!"

No Pies. Squeelers is just another Cringy thing. I get why children might use the term but it is just imature and strange from adults. It's like singing if you all hate the Steelers clap your hands when they are battering us. Or we 'ate Steelers in the anthem(although not as disrespectful).
Edit: To add.
Steelers fans: "Steelers"
Panthers fans: "ooooooh ooh"
and the reverse tbf.

I also prefer chanting back rather than that awful "oooooo ooo" - e.g. "Steelers" and while they're clapping, we sing "Panthers". Have seen it work so well before, makes for a better atmosphere too!

OS confirms Wiikman is back for this one and Dimmen is still out.
Hopefully it means we can keep the forward lines unchanged.

I've posted this on another thread but it keeps in focus how close it is, taken from Steeltalk where both Sheffield & Cardiff are nervous about us... now I see why
Even if the Panthers lose both of their games in hand, they win the rest of their games and they still win the league, as they have to play both Sheffield and Cardiff twice. Losing the two games in hand and winning the rest would give them 2 points more than Cardiff, even if both the Devils and us won every game remaining as well.
No pressure for tonight then..

That's what i was thinking Guinnessman,it can't be correct. For us to stand a chance,i reckon we can possibly afford to lose only one game,so long as it's not against Cardiff.
