Oh and please drop Lacho. Every time he gets the puck it comes to nothing, tries to offload it as soon as he gets it and his skill seems to have disappeared.
Not one for usually naming players but he is awful. If we aren't getting in imports or going shorts because we have Brit cover then he can be gone tomorrow for all I care.

Complete apathy shown by the team tonight, I didn't see warm up but by the way the players came out onto the ice at the start you could see they would rather be elsewhere.

Cam was the one player on the ice tonight who looked anything like giving a damb - so why at the end was he swapped for Lacho who was doing absolutely nothing - far too often players just seemed to be going through the motions with no urgency, until we scored then the tempo went up dramatically - something is wrong and it is easy to blame the coach, particular player, owner etc.

Papering over major cracks. We were awful. Madalora is good NM. Great save sin the one on one in the 1st. Then in the PS. Rest were crap. Plus Shultz didn't play the last period so looks like he still hasn't shaken off the injury. He limped off his last shift

The bigger players in the league now just push him straight off the puck. Happened time and time again tonight.

His form has dipped year on year since the G.S. season when he was a star of a player. I'd be loath to see him go though as he's my daughters favourite player & I paid £40 to put his name on her shirt He should be in his prime at his age (26?) but I think for the sake of his career he needs to move on for a fresh start, maybe return after a season or two when he has rediscovered his mojo.

Think tonight was so boring, the only player who did well other then the new goalie was Cam. Put energy shifts in time and time again! Once we scored we woke up and go things going. Lacho needs to be dropped or traded, he's a liability on the ice, offers absolutely nothing and why Corey plays him over Ollie is beyond me! Cam needs to be playing regular shifts with MacMillan and Farmer and just have them go out and grind hit and get in players faces. Hope Shultz was pulled early enough and it's just a minor flare up common with injury comebacks

Can I say to the people if they read this who sit in block 14 row M and in front of me if you don't like me booing at the end of the 2nd period or moaning about our lackluster play then ask at Panthers desk where GM sits as I'm sure he would love your total blind devotion to everything Panthers and would welcome you next to him and you can sit with him and say how unlucky we are and how we never get a bounce.

A big deal was made of our Britpack at the start of the season and how it would give us an advantage over other teams. Trouble is they just don't deliver. The best British player on show today was Swindlehurst, the senior Brits were hopeless, especially Lachowicz, who offers absolutely nothing.

There is no maybe about it Yotes,Lacho needs to go he's playing appallingly and obviously doesn't care a toss.
And his coach should follow him out the door !

Difficult to know just what has happened to this team. Surely they can't all be aflicted with the same strain of apathy at the same time. My view is that either there is something wrong in the locker room, or they are having the bejesus coached out of them.
We know Corey is unlikely to accept that something needs to change, so, again just my opinion, is that he needs to be replaced. Now rather than the end of the season. Obviously he can't be fired in his testimonial year, so move him sideways, and let Strachan take over until the end of the year, while a good coach is found to build his side in the off season early rather than late towards the new season.

Not convinced with swindlehurst to be honest, had a couple of good games but I'd say he's average at the minute.
Glad we won, but definitely didn't deserve it.
The Lawrence tonight was the Lawrence of last year!!
Something is wrong behind the scenes, I like Corey, but, I think changes are needed for next season.

We pulled it out of the fire tonight & a more decent side (no disrespect to Flyers who are also a bit off form) would have been out of sight by the time we got our 1st goal. If we turn up like this on Friday we'll be in for a hammering. Hate to be negative & would sooner be posting upbeat comments but never in 3 years have I been so underwhelmed at a Panthers game, so much so that I couldn't raise the enthusiasm to celebrate our 1st (& neither could many around me). It wasn't in protest on my part by any stretch, even when we entered the arena there was a sense of comme ci, comme ça around the place......the foyer, usually busy & buzzing, was deathly quiet, no music or announcements or atmosphere. On NYE we walked in to Motorhead booming Ace of Spades through the arena (nice nod to Lemmy) but tonight the difference was palpable.

Swindlehurst is only 22 he has plenty of time to progress and he ain't a bad player. He needs to cut out the mistakes though. Seen them a few times this season.
What would people think of CN the GM just a thought haha.

The Brit pack was especially poor tonight. Think Myers has caught the bug from Lacho(no point discussing him anymore. Is anybody still defendung him?). I am a Clarkey fan but I do wonder how many more goals he'd have if he hit the target more than 20% of the time. Swindlehurst the best of the bunch at the minute and has moe time to grow.

Gerard Adams was fired by Cardiff just before his testimonial game ?

At least we got the points and Fife isn't challenging for the title, so them getting a point doesn't matter at the minute. Madalora looks like he's a great signing at this stage of the season.
I get a feeling that the players were too tired from yesterday, I mean I swear that Oakford has played more shifts this weekend than he has all season combined. So a new D-Man is essential (I mean for the rest of the season as cover when needed)also I could have sworn that we had made contacts when we were in the CHL, So there has to be a decent Scandinavian D-Man around who can do a job for us.
If we don't make any signings this week, then we are in deep, deep trouble against Belfast and Sheffield next week.
Still good attendance (That's the main thing)

Considering Fife didn't even arrive at the arena until 3.35pm today, i was rather surprised to see they didn't have any "bus legs" tonight. After all,Panthers always seem to have them when we lose an away game.......very strange that isn't it.
Then again, the term "bus legs" could just be a load of crap !

From a Flyers perspective that was a fantastic road game from us. If we had conceded as we should have on the first shift of the game and been on the back foot right from the off it would have been a totally different game. However we were excellent defensively both as a unit and as a team and got luck when we needed it. Madolara was excellent for Panthers and prevented us from going 3-0 up with a fantastic save. Considering how bad Flyers were against Storm the previous night this was a fantastic performance from us but then Panthers had a totally different approach to the game than Storm as Storm are a much faster, slicker passing team that caused us much more problems. We looked very comfortable until the penalty shot, no arguement from me on the decision, which gave Panthers momentum they hadnt previously had and we were incredibly unlucky to loose the second but I think we would have been hard done by to get nothing from the game at all. Really pleased with a point, disappointed we didnt get both with the way we played

Could not agree more with that harlan , a superb show of how to play a road game - well done ! P.S. would your coach mind showing our coaching team how to do it as they and the players dont seem to have a clue . Cheers .

Clarke's miss 20 seconds in set the tone for the game. I personally would remove him as captain and give it to someone like Janssen but that's just me.
We created some decent offence but as per we chose the wrong time to shoot and either had the shot blocked or missed the net. Lack of shooting accuracy is frustrating.
As others have said Lacho absolutely pants, Myers poor but for me the disappointment is Moran. Having seen him for over half a season I feel he is nowhere near the player I expected, especially recently. He's not good on face offs either.

Either by accident or design 99% of all of our shots are straight at the netminder. If you look at the second goal Fife scored last night you will see something that's been missing from the Panthers for weeks.
