Really? The Polish hosts beat Partizan Belgrade 26-0. Then Coventry knock 12 past em today, someone's having a laugh sending that team into European competition

Boris apparently managed to get a misconduct before the game started tonight, unsportsmanlike conduct. The mind boggles.
They're 1-0 up early though.

I'm interested to hear their views on the game (fans and the coach), Spik. Phenomenal number of misconduct penalties handed out.

3 years in a row now.
Dodgy officiating in Asiago (v the home team). Extremely dodgy officiating with Belfast's group last season. Now this.

Without any shadow of a doubt in Asiago.
I have never seen match officials skate over to the home team bench after a game has finished and stand chatting with them for ages.
So many bad calls (dodgy against us, and none calls against them). the referee waiting with his whistle in his mouth when Panthers had a rare powerplay so he could call man in the crease, offsides and icing pretty poor all through that last game with Asiago.
It left a bad taste after such a battling performance over all three games by Panthers.

I remember us versus the top Italians one year and even though we beat them (were we on the same number of points in the league?) we ended up out of the competition just because of some naff 'penalty shoot-out done after every game?

The continental cup round in Amiens was ridiculous.
We beat Milan on pens. We beat Llublijana in regulation. We beat Amiens in regulation.
Ended up somehow on the same points as Milan, who we had beaten on pens and they went and decided it on goal difference which favoured Milan. That was because Llublijana threw their game with Milan by playing their hopeless back up and losing about 10-0 because Panthers had objected to them trying to play four unregistered lockout Nhlers in the tournament. So what was the point of having a shoot out against Milan ?

To be honest I'd have absolutely zero interest in taking part in this in the future. The CHL or nought.

I went to Asiago for the trip and I would go again without a shadow of a doubt. One of the best hockey trips i've ever been on.

Theres a group of us heading up to Cortina for the GB Olympic qualifiers in February. I expect a similar sort of trip, but maybe better officials!
