I have nothing against Tony Smith other than the conflict of interest and the fact that Sheffield seem to be taking over the league by the back door - however as regards the Belfast fiasco, I do not blame Tony for trying to get as much as possible out of it (imagine if it had been us) - there was a total disregard for the Steelers fans and it was postponed purely for financial gain - not sure about the two points but it would have made teams think twice about doing it again - As for Tony's perspective of his team, very unprofessional from an owner (and the head of the league)

Giving the points to Sheffeield though? Ridiculous from Smith. Even the most one eyed of Steelers fans must be embarrassed by the desperation of the man.

David Simms ... Belfast are paying compensation for showing the league and the sport no respect. I'd hate to see Dave's compo bill.

Whilst on this subject, I remembered our match night team playing One Direction songs after our goals against Sheffield. I don't think we did that the next game.
If it were a dig, then I think it was quite poor, and we should be better than that.

If #twopointtony is trying to gain points this way, then he doesn't rate your team very highly. Since the season started you've had it easy with regards to playing teams understrength week after week, now want free 2 points, and still languish well off the pace.... doesn t look good does it It's a bit early to be talking about languishing off the pace. We seem to have an annoyingly inconsistent team this year. When they play well they're better than last seasons team, but they seem to be prone to switching off in defence and conceding goals in bunches. I suspect it's partly down to concentration in defence (too many of them want to be forwards) and partly down to the quality of netminding. This weekend will be a big test. If we lose both games whilst I wouldn't say our title hopes are over, it does give us a long way to come back. Regards Doom
